Jylland...page 1
Yes, there is more to life in Denmark than Kobenhavn.  For those of you who are unaware, Denmark is largely consisted of islands including Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Sjaelland (where Kobenhavn is located).  Denmark is connected to the European continent by the Jylland (Jutland, in english) peninsula.  Over Valentine's Day weekend I had the opportunity to explore some interesting sites which left me with a greater appreciation for what some consider the Old World.
Left: a scene from one of the main squares in Arhus, Denmark's second largest city...birthplace of felching, look it up sicko.
Below: A boat captain speeds off to rendezvous with his shrooms dealer..hey, how about a couple of stems?!
Our field study tour included visits to the headquarters of TeleDanmark, Arla Foods, and Lego Toys.  Of the three I must say that Lego Toys was the most informative and enjoyable.  During our trip we also had many tours of historic sites such as the Castle of Koldinghus, the Cathedral of Ribe, and the Viking Museum (pics of the last two sites are on page 2).
Left: One of the many dolls from the royal playroom.  My question: "what kind of psycho would play house or have tea with this freaky doll?"  Yes, its eyes are open.

Below: The castle of Koldinghus which has been restored to much of its original state. It is also of interest to point out that the reconstructed portions are the darker areas.

Below, left: View of Kolding from the top of the tower.
Left: a 4 ft. tall Lego construction of Darth Maul.  It's amazing what you could do with Lego.

Right: a pic of a really groovy girl, Marge, at Lego HQ.
Left: the main walking market street in Kolding.

Below: Me expressing my inner masochistic bastard child.  Yeah! On your knees Bitch!!
