HOMESTEAD STRIKE
When:
Summer of 1892 while Andrew Carnegie was in Europe.

Where:
The Homestead Strike took place at the Carnegie Steel plant in Homestead, Pennsylvania.
Well, what happened?
Well, the summer that Carnegie went over to Europe, Henry Frick decided to take over the company and bad things happened.  He decided to cut the wages of the workers and crush the union.  Thus, the Homestead Strike was called.
On July 1, Frick called a police force that was known mostly to stop strikes and break them at the heart.  This police force was known as the PINKERTONS, who participated in a "massacre" along the Monongahela River.
When Carnegie returned, he was appalled at what he saw and never trusted Frick ever again.  On November 20, the workers decided to call off the strike and admitted they were defeated.
Now wait, who was involved?
People who were involved included:
1. Henry Frick
2. The workers of Carnegie Steel
3. The Pinkertons
What was the outcome?
Some of the outcomes of this strike include:
1. Carnegie never trusted Frick ever again
2. Homestead had been reopened to the workers
