If love so dearly, why Adami (born in Bologna 1935) painted the two amore in love in black?
Perhaps, he was in love, so in love, thus he heard Puccini in his heart.
Perhaps, he was obsessed in Puccini's Tosca, he never forgot the way Cavaradossi awaiting his execution at castel Sant' Angelo whilst recalling the beautiful moment with Tosca.

We never know the way artist work.  But the theme of two people in love in black, might be relevant for all people in love awaiting the new millennium, hoping for better tomorrow.
