Born in 1960, Kostabi spent his formative years in Whittier, California. He attended California State University at Fullerton, where he studied drawing and painting. In 1982 he relocated to New York and soon established a reputation as a leader in figurative painting. His featureless "everyman" looming ominously behind cash registers or lost in walkman oblivion, quickly became a cultural icon of an era. In 1994 he designed a watch for the Swatch fall/winter collection, where his "everyman" has become "The Twelve Apostles", the twelve hours of the dial.. (Text from Art to Swatch)

June 1996 - The Romantics by Windham Hill Artists, I always thought that most compilations are not as good as the single artist album, until now. Buy it if you are in the mood for classic and jazz.
Movie of the Month:
June 1996 - Citizen Kane (Criterion Laser Disc Special Edition), what can I say? I have to say that this is the best movie of all time.
