I discovered the way to transfer stories I've done onto DVD, then convert them to video files, then into internet friendly "Real Media" files. They are still a bit big, but easily viewed over a decent internet connection.

Here are some of the stories I've done while at WVEC in Norfolk, Virginia.

Navy Christmas 2005

I had the opportunity to go to sea on deployment day aboard the USS Austin with reporter Carl Leimer. We would head south along the Outer Banks to Moorehead City, North Carolina, where the amphibious ship would take on Marines before heading to Iraq. Deployment day was an emotional time and the 2-day adventure was a rewarding experience for me, being a former boatswain's mate. I hadn't been to sea on a Navy surface ship since I was in the Navy some 12 years back.

Here are the three stories we did that aired in WVEC's 60-minute special, "Navy Christmas."
