Mike and Jill's Summer Vacation
Mike and Jill have been have been having a great vacation. We have been hanging on my beach, went to Sandbridge, saw XMen3, went to Harborfest in downtown Norfolk, swung by my station, and today, the pinnacle end of the visit, we road the long trek to Corolla in North Carolina for some surfing and dune walks... A very cool time...well worth the drive. They did good on the surfboards, getting into the waves bodyboard style. A nice calm waist high day on the sandbar at low tide...all around perfect... Yeah, I got a couple dozen fair rides in slow and short conditions, but it was fun showing off...hahaha...even when I wiped out, quite often in the knee biters... The pictures will show why Corolla is worth the drive.
