Yahoo_NSYNC: Ooo, that was surreal! It came up so fast and then it was over before I knew it.
It just hit me this week that we did it.
Yahoo_NSYNC: I'm trying to get in touch with her today, cause today is her birthday,
and I'm trying to wish her happy birthday.
nsyncno1lover asks: What was the first thing you said/did when you were asked to
join the group?
Yahoo_NSYNC: I didn't believe 'em at first, I thought it was some gimmick on the
phone, so I really didn't take it serious at all.
Yahoo_NSYNC: They said they would fly me down the next day. I was really busy,
cause that night was my homecoming at school and I was more interested in that.
Yahoo_NSYNC: But when I got home that night, I decided to do it the next day, and
when I met them , I knew it was going to be something huge, when I first them.
nsync_geeks asks: What was the significance of calling your new album "No Strings Attached"?
Yahoo_NSYNC: Different meanings. "No strings attached" is usually said when
they want you to check out something.
Yahoo_NSYNC: We said it cause we want you to listen to it, and you decide what to
think, have your own personal opinion.
Yahoo_NSYNC: And we also feel finally free of what has been holding us back,
we are in control of everything we do.
Yahoo_NSYNC: Groups like us are usually all guided about and told what to
do, and that is so not us. So we are to tell you we have no strings attached.
SebasChan asks: Who does the group's laundry when they're on the road?
Yahoo_NSYNC: LOL! My laundry was just taken care of yesterday cause I was home!
Yahoo_NSYNC: Every once in a while we get to go home, but if we really need
it done, we have a girl named Leslie, who does our wardrobe, and when we
really need it, she is gracious enough to do it.
Sweetie_pie4_26 asks: Lance, how was the charity basketball game in Atlanta? :)
Yahoo_NSYNC: It was very successful. I think we raised a little over 10,000 for
Arnold Palmer's Hospital.
Yahoo_NSYNC: The people that came out - it was very thrown together, it was
our first charitable event, we hope to make it annual - and so many people came
out, Brian McKnight and his brother who is in Take Six, Usher, Kobe Bryant,
Jamal Anderson, other NBA players, Shanice, there were a lot of people who came out
to support us,. It was great

Yahoo_NSYNC: I am a white socks person!
Yahoo_NSYNC: If they fit, cause if they've shrunk, then it's no socks!
Yahoo_NSYNC: It's funny you ask that, cause we've named this tour the No
Socks Tour, cause we don't usually wear socks on stage cause we wear shorts.
Yahoo_NSYNC: We don't really like socks.

Yahoo_NSYNC: I would dedicate it to all our fans out there.
Yahoo_NSYNC: Cause they are the music of our hearts. We wouldn't be doing
this at all if it wasn't for them.

Yahoo_NSYNC: That was great, that was our second year in a row.
Yahoo_NSYNC: We've become really good friends with everyone in the organization
of Miss Teen USA, Donald Trump and his whole crew.
Yahoo_NSYNC: When they asked, we just had to do it.

blue tips?
Yahoo_NSYNC: You must have come to that one show when we put that on the hair.
A lot of people liked it actually, I didn't.
Yahoo_NSYNC: I do have spikey hair during the show, though, but it's white.
Yahoo_NSYNC: And Joey, I have no clue what went on his head when he decided to go fuchsia. I think it's hot pink now!

Yahoo_NSYNC: It's coming out sometime either the end of this year or early next year.
Yahoo_NSYNC: It's called No Strings Attached.
Yahoo_NSYNC: There will be several songs on the album written by some of us.
Yahoo_NSYNC: The album cover is probably the coolest album cover you've ever
seen, it's very different. But I can't tell you anything about it!

Yahoo_NSYNC: No, I wish! I wanted to, but we just didn't have any time.
But I did ride the rides at Hershey Park.

Yahoo_NSYNC: Phil was very great, very down to earth.
Yahoo_NSYNC: He's a legend to me.
Yahoo_NSYNC: That was another surreal moment, we didn't really know what
we were going in to that day.
Yahoo_NSYNC: We thought we were going to do a song for our album, and there was Phil
waiting for us. It was like, Hey Phil!
Yahoo_NSYNC: But it was really cool, cause nothing was set in the song, it was
all scatting. So the six of us went in and just scatted and whatever was recorded
was left in.
LANCEgirl04 asks: What's the weirdest outfit you've ever had to wear?
Yahoo_NSYNC: OK! I can answer this one. When the group first got together, we had
been together four months trying to get a record deal. There was a clothing line called
Wacko, the worst, most hideous clothes I ever saw in my life.
Yahoo_NSYNC: it was like club clothes, mine were shiny, green and yellow,
and we had to do a photo shoot in them It was awful!
Yahoo_NSYNC: I'm waiting for those pictures to show up somewhere!

Yahoo_NSYNC: Actually, my artist Meredith Edwards, who is opening up for us right
now, today was her last day.
Yahoo_NSYNC: I was listening to her CD to figure out which songs she should do
in the show.

Yahoo_NSYNC: It used to be either me or Justin because of the blond hair.

Yahoo_NSYNC: He finally did, At first he was very nervous, but now, he knows
how safe it is and he is very calm with it now. But he's still scared of heights.

too nervous to talk to.
Yahoo_NSYNC: But I don't know the last time I dated a fan, though. But I've had
a bunch of crushes.

Yahoo_NSYNC: I have several. One is my American Music Award.
Yahoo_NSYNC: And then I just received, some girl sent to the venue a few days ago,
and I have to write her back, she sent me some pictures she's had in her
family since the sixties, of every Apollo mission that went up into space. Pictures
of the crews - and they are all signed, from Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, everyone.

Yahoo_NSYNC: It is not a rumour anymore. We are definitely doing a movie!
Yahoo_NSYNC: We just met with Playtone, Tom Hanks' company.
Yahoo_NSYNC: We are still throwing around ideas, if anyone has any, please email me.
Yahoo_NSYNC: We're down to three scripts. The movie will be made early in 2000 -
I'm crossing my
fingers, and will be released hopefully in September of 2000. So you will get
to see us act!
Yahoo_NSYNC: But I'm not making any promises. It could be 2002 before it comes out!

Yahoo_NSYNC: Of course! We're gonna have lots of extras!

Yahoo_NSYNC: No, cause we all got one. They sent all of us a surf board to our homes.

Yahoo_NSYNC: No! No Monkees, no Spice World, No A Hard Days Night. It's a real movie.

I was little, it's a dog.

Yahoo_NSYNC: Whew! I like to, if we have time and if there's a theme park
in the town, I'll go if we have a day off. If there's a Six Flags, jet skiing,
golfing, I'll be there. But usually it's seeing a movie and sleeping is all
we have time to do.

But as far as blown out fist fights, we've never had one.

Yahoo_NSYNC: We are going to Hawaii. We're doing a big concert for our fans in Hawaii,
spending 2000 with them.

get your attention?
Yahoo_NSYNC: I guess we've had some hide under the table in our hotel. As we
came up the elevator, we saw the table moving.
Yahoo_NSYNC: Our bodyguard picked up the cloth and there were about ten people
hiding there!
Yahoo_NSYNC: We gave them autographs and a picture for their effort!

Yahoo_NSYNC: I Love Lucy is my favorite television show, because of Lucille
Ball my favorite actress. It
was hilarious and way ahead of its time.

Yahoo_NSYNC: security from the front usually gets them and pops them, and we
never get to see them

Yahoo_NSYNC: A ceiling fan. It had five prongs on it, and each one of us signed
one of the prongs. It was very creative.

Yahoo_NSYNC: Clue. It was all dialogue driven. I loved that movie.

lol, if it didn't hit ya and all...
Yahoo_NSYNC: That would probably be a bra. Or panties.
Yahoo_NSYNC: And one time Joey picked up a bra and put it on our drummer's head as
he was playing. That was pretty funny.
yahoomusic: what cd are you listening to the most
Yahoo_NSYNC: Actually The Dixie Chicks new album from Sony, I don't know if it's
out yet. It's really good, so I've been listening to that trying to pick a
favorite song.

Yahoo_NSYNC: No. Hate the game.
Yahoo_NSYNC: I get bored with it. And it's so confusing.
ChatYahoo_Lisa: What clubs were you in in high school?
Yahoo_NSYNC: I was mainly in the clubs to get out of class. I was the Vice
President of our class, so Student Council. Students Against Drunk Driving,
FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Honor SOciety, Youth in Government,
Mayor's Youth Council.
Yahoo_NSYNC: THose are the main ones.

tell us about the white tigers you posed with in "teen people magazine"...
Yahoo_NSYNC: Those tigers, we had the pleasure of adopting an endangered
species this year. They asked a few different celebrities, Mario Lopez,
we were the only musicians to do it. It's called Stars In the Wild Project.
Yahoo_NSYNC: They are releasing the white tiger toys, for Christmas, you press its
paw and it makes sounds from it's habitat. And our pictures are around it's collar.
And all proceeds go to protect the white tiger.

Yahoo_NSYNC: It used to be Orlando Magic, but not any more cause everyone left.
Yahoo_NSYNC: Now it's the LA Lakers, cause LA is my second home. And I like Kobe
Bryant, he's my new best friend.

Yahoo_NSYNC: There's been several, but one that really sticks out is I guess the
American Music Awards. That was real special to us
Yahoo_NSYNC: because it was our first award here in America, and it's one of
the biggest you can get here in America.
Yahoo_NSYNC: And we were up against so many great people. And we knew we
weren't going to win cause there were so many great people. When they called
our name we just freaked out, it took us ten minutes to get up on stage.

Yahoo_NSYNC: My car.

Yahoo_NSYNC: Definitely my parents, and all of my family, my friends. Definitely
NSYNC and everyone that works for us.
Yahoo_NSYNC: And most importantly, our fans. That all together makes NSYNC.

Yahoo_NSYNC: Yeah, I always had a dog growing up, I had 4 or 5, not all at
one time though! Some would pass away...I only had to give away one dog when I
moved to Orlando.
Yahoo_NSYNC: I'm just remodeling my house right now, and once it's done, I'm going
to get a dog,.

to spend any time there since you are always on the road?
Yahoo_NSYNC: Yes, I just got my house.

Yahoo_NSYNC: Oh yes there is. Sugar Hill Gang gave it to me.
Yahoo_NSYNC: They gave it to me on the last night of being on tour with us
(from the last tour).
Yahoo_NSYNC: We did the LA Forum and it this is Sugar Hill Gang's 20th anniversary
bracelet. Besides them, I'm the only one that has it. They gave it to me cause it
was their dream to play the LA Forum and they played it with us. It's special to
me cause they invented rap, they're legendary.
Yahoo_NSYNC: And I really liked the bracelet.

Yahoo_NSYNC: LOL! Joey is not allowed to touch my pool with jello or any food
substance.
Yahoo_NSYNC: No, my pool is being built right now, I'm building a tropical garden
so it will be a real get away place, but it wont be ready till Christmas.
Yahoomc: What are the qualifications for a #1 fan?
Yahoo_NSYNC: Please mail your application to PO Box....No. Our number one
fans have to be there for
the music first, know the music and respect the music, and then just have fun.
Yahoo_NSYNC: That's basically what it's about, if they know the music and know
what we're trying to be, then they can be our number one fan!

Yahoo_NSYNC: All of our moms do that! My mom has the biggest NSYNC collection you've ever seen!
Yahoo_NSYNC: From day one, she has priceless, priceless stuff on us.
Yahoo_NSYNC: She has 20 big ol' photo albums of everything we've ever done.
I was just looking at them
yesterday, some really great stuff on us.

Yahoo_NSYNC: Ooo. I'd rather not die, but....I don't know, maybe going up to
space, can I be in the shuttle? That would be the way to go. Cause that's my dream,
if I die trying to reach my dream, that's OK.
Yahoomc: are you feeling better -- we heard you were sick
Yahoo_NSYNC: Back in May at the end of the tour I was very, very sick, I had
to go to the hospital for three days, but now I am 100 percent better.
Yahoo_NSYNC: I have a slight heart condition, but it's nothing to worry about.

it sounds nothing like him.
Yahoo_NSYNC: It's interesting, and never been done before. He's unique, and
I respect that.

Yahoo_NSYNC: I don't remember. I think it was all of us throwing out ideas.

Yahoo_NSYNC: I love meeting fans. They are the ones we do all this for, they are
the reason we tour. So it's great meeting everybody.

Yahoo_NSYNC: Busta is in LA right now, staying with a friend.
Yahoo_NSYNC: We were about to start flying and we didn't want to bring him
out with us, so we'll pick him up again soon. We love Busta, he just pees everywhere.
Yahoomc: is it true that joey loves twinkies???
Yahoo_NSYNC: Yes he does like Twinkies but I don't think it's his favorite
thing.
Yahoo_NSYNC: I have seen him eating Twinkies though.
Yahoomc: what would you like to improve about yourself?
Yahoo_NSYNC: I want to die my hair blue. There's a picture in our first book,
and my hair is all blue, and I look at it and it's pretty cool!

world, but I loved how they did
it. And I even created my
own Blair Witch Project with my friends in the woods in Nashville.

Yahoo_NSYNC: I try to take vitamins, one a day, but it usually turns out to be
three times a week.
Yahoo_NSYNC: I gave them to our nutritionist on the road, and she tries to shove it down my throat at
lunchtimes.
Yahoomc: I love that picture of you guys dresses up like the Spice Girls. Did
you shave your legs for that?
Yahoo_NSYNC: Hee -hee. Oh, heck no, I would never have done that. I was Baby
Spice. Joey was the ugliest thing I have ever seen. I have never seen a woman
with a goatee.
Yahoomc: what does giddy up mean?
Yahoo_NSYNC: Giddeeup, means get up, really. Party. Get down. Have fun.

Yahoo_NSYNC: It was my grandfather. He has a lot of antique everything.
Old stuff really intrigues me. I love going to antique stores. And I went to Asia
and saw some really old knives and things.
Yahoo_NSYNC: And I just got something the other day from Egypt, really cool.
