The Concept:
A woman has a baby, without a man, and raises him on
her own. *coughbastardchildcough* The boy grows up and
has to go fight in the war and the mom spends all her
time worrying and waiting to hear from him. NSync are
angels. I think in a way, they are kinda saying God
must have spent a little more time on her, but she's
saying GMHSALMTO Him. (He He)
The Video:
The vid starts out with a nice shot of each of the
guys. They drop some feathers (Why...?)
Then it shows a nurse handing a baby to the lady and
all the guys in a big ol room with bubbles everywhere
(Huh...I like bubbles...)
I LOVE the face Justin makes when he sings "Never
thought that love could feel like this" *squeal*
The little boy grows up a little, he's about 2 or so,
and he wants his mom to play ball with him when she's
hanging up the laundry. (I would be like "I'm busy
boy!" Justin: The childhood he never had...) The
little boy has a scrape on his knee. Aww...Then he
throws the dirty ball, and she catches it with her
clean laundry.
During the chorus, the guys are angels on stands in a
baseball field. They fade out and it shows the kids
playing baseball. (Baseball???? What the hell happened
to basketball??) Then it shows the guys some more on
the stands and JC makes this gay ass gesture with his
hand during "Your soul is like a secret..."
I think the boy's team is losing. He seems upset.
When they sing "God must have spent..." they all look
up. Planned...?
The boy talks to his mom through the fence and grabs
her hand. (In this day and age, you'd get your ass
beat for holding your mom's hand through the fence!) I
guess mommy was an inspiration, cause he hits a homer.
Then he runs and hugs her. (More ass beatin!)
More bubble room!
In the math the boy is doing (Can we name him? His
name is "Bob" and the mom's name is "Pam") The problem
is 4 + 4 and "Bob" puts 20,000. Can you say STUPID
ASS? I mean come on, even without his glasses, he
could've gotten closer than that! She rewards him for
getting the answer wrong with some milk and cookies.
She breaks his glasses out of her shirt (What were
they doing there?)
JC appears in his glasses. (Hey! I would get glasses
if JC appeared in them! I don't need them, but I would
still wear them!)
Video magic!! "Bob" grows up! Does he put on the JC
glasses?
Now they appear in the mirror! (Where can you these
glass products? Is there a place called "NSync Glass
Emporium" where you can buy glass stuff that NSync
appears in?)
More bubble room!
They are all dancing around a smoking bird bath!!
"Bob" kisses "Pam" and she wakes up with a start.
(Joey looks like a genie!) "Pam" wipes off his nose
like he's still 3. (More ass whoopin! They're gonna
snap towels at him in the shower....) After she puts
her knitting down, that paper is nice and handy for
her to read. And it just so happens that is says
"WAR!!!" in huge letters on the front.
I wonder what he says to her to make that woman (Let's
name her "Ann") turn away. She turns back and they
kiss.
JC drops another feather (Again, why...?)
"Pam" doesn't get a letter from "Bob" and "Pam" is
upset. His french hooker girlfriend "Ann" comes and
checks the mail again. (Anyone else notice she puts a
lot of effort into opening that mailbox?)
LANCE GETS A CLOSE UP SHOT!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!
Then "Bob" walks up to the door, and knocks (Lose your
key "Bob"?) "Pam" openes it and must have gotten
alzhiemers in her old age cause she doesn't notice
"Bob is really "Bob" Their life together flashes in
her eyes (Oooo! Trippy!) and she realizes "Bob" is
"Bob". They share a passionate embrace and the video
is over.
My Thoughts:
There's nothing really bad about this video, it was
kinda hard to make fun of, so if it's not funny, I'm
sowwy!
