Troop 116 Cars
This page conatins pictures of people I know from my BSA Troop 116 of Wyncote PA.  These are the pics and summeries about the junkers they may be, the perks and problems, and so on!  Enjoy!
Mr. Finleys beige Volvo is 2.3 liter and an automatic with a 3 speed transmission.  It has quite a bit of rust. It is ugly and is also one of the slowest Volvos ever made.  It is fuel injected and beleive it or not it is still driven almost every day.  Getting on to the high way with that volvo has got to be a lot of fun.It only had 114 HP from the factory, and it is sure to have less now!
Now here!...My 88 VW OX aka the FOX and the 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer!
My friend Jeff owns or has owned many cars in his time, here you will see a few.  This is one of them, the 1999 Toyota Celica GT convertable.   It's 2200 engine 5 speed produces 138 horse power running very smooth and maintaining very good handeling and breaking but acceleration is only fair.
This estatic Volvo Driver is Mr. Finley.  He is exiting his Volvo T5  850.  It has:  5 cylinder 20V turbo intercooled  222 horsepower and 221 ft-lbs of torque.  It's not particularly smooth or quiet (engine wise) Stepping hard on the gas elicits a ruckus underhood. The five-cylinders generate a mellow but curious sounding exhaust note.
This is Mr. Weissingers' Mazda Miata (chick magnet).  It has good handeling good breaking but lacks any real power by only having 110 horsepower @ 5,300 rpm and 105 foot-pounds torque topping out @ 4,500 rpm.  Notice if you squint real hard...on the picture on the right, left side of car on the trunk the large dent above the tail light.
