| Artemus R. Dennis Miller's father was James David Miller 1823 - ? and his mother was Sarah Hall 1830 - ? . We have reports that James Miller was a Second Lieutenant in Co. H, 12th Cavalry Battalion, Army of Tennessee of the Confederate States of America and rode with the famous Lieutenant General Nathan Bedford Forrest. I am still researching for this information. |

| Frances Elizabeth Lear West's father was Alexander West 1821 - ? and her mother was Nancy Abigail Popham 1835 - ?. On January 10, 1863 Alexander West was a private in Co. D. Infantry Battalion, Smith Legion, Georgia Volunteers, Army of Tennessee of Confederate State of America and later transferred to Co. H., then to Co. F, 65th Regiment Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Army of Tennessee of Confederate States of America. He fought until end of the war and return to White County Georgia. |
