I currently reside in Anchorage, Alaska. It is a small city surrounded by 1000s of miles of wilderness and ocean. The mountains are abundant and the winter has as much charm as the summer. The days are long with nearly 21 hours of sunlight in summer, but in winter, the days reach a low of about 5 hours of direct sun. The winters are graced by pristine night skies filled with stars, landscapes bathed in gentle moonlight, and occasionally the sublime northern lights. It is a beautiful place to live, unspoiled and yet Anchorage still maintains a small town feel with all the beneifits of a larger US city.
My parents and two sisters live in the Midwest, while my brother lives on the east coast. We're scattered about the country, but remain close through modern channels of communication. We are all nature lovers, in all the aspects one can be.
