The island is 8' by 4' and has
farm style sink installed
along with a dish washer.
Large pull out drawers are in
the cabinet.
Jimmy built the island and I
stained it.

The stove unit was made with
sheet-rock covered with joint
compound. Then it was
sponge painted. The tiles are
hand painted. See the close
up below. Jimmy built the unit.


This is a close up of the dish rack that Jimmy made. I find it very handy.

I painted the unit and some of the
tiles. I had collected the pictures
back 1983 and saved it until we
were ready to build. I looked all
over Tampa for the tiles, but found
them up here.
