In this research project you will be learning about fighter planes. One of my favorite planes is the YF-22 "Raptor". It is on of the ATF(Advanced Tactical Fighter). They do not currently use it in combat but it is used for training.
In this Webquest you will be reasearching Fighter Planes. I want to know a few things about them. One question I want you to answer is how fast the fastest Fighter can go, along with which Fighter that is. I would also like what the biggest current airplane in use is. And last but not least is which Fighter Plane the Air Force uses the most in combat missions.
I would like you to each of the websites listed belowe. Find pictures and information on you topic and create a reasearch project out of it. Please try to get some good quality information from these sites. And always remember to have fun when researching!!
I learned in this webquest that there are many diffrent kinds of Fighter Planes. There are some like the FF-22 Raptor that are only used test flights becuase other planes take over, the YF-23 is used instead. The F-15 Eagle and F-18 Hornet are very commonly used by the Air Force becuase they are built for common Combat Battles.
