Introduction

You probably think of only the World Cup when someone says Professional Soccer. Pro soccer is much more that just the world cup, and it lasts all year long almost. I'm going to be focusing on mostly European soccer, the skill level is better than the soccer played in the US, and the history of soccer in europe is a lot more interesting. Players from all over the world are recuited onto teams from different countries. Many, many teams exsist in these european leagues. I will also explain the history of soccer, and some important dates revolving around soccer.

Task

Basically I just want you to know more about soccer, it is by far the most popular sport world wide. If you know the background and rules of soccer I think it will make you more interested in this sport, and if you don't already play it, maybe you would want to try it. I want you to learn about the rules, and background of soccer by the time you finish with this web site.
