Pomeranians are toy dogs. They are 3-7 lbs and 8-11 inches. There coat needs brushing at least once a day. They are eager to learn and get along with other pets. They are intelligent and loyal to their families. Here are three good websites with more information:

1. Description- The Pomeranian is a tiny, fluffy dog with a wedge-shaped head and pointed ears. Some have faces that breeders say its like a fox; others have baby-doll faces. All have bright, dark, almond-shaped eyes with an intelligent expression. The nose is either dark or the color of its coat.
2. Temperanment- The Pomeranian is a lively little dog. Intelligent, eager to learn, very loyal to its handler and family. Willful, bold and sometimes temperamental. If it is properly introduced they usually get along with other dogs and household animals without any problems, but some of them seem to think they are much larger than they actually are and do not hesitate to attack much bigger dogs. It is an excellent watchdog with a resounding bark
3. Exercise- As long as there is a small yard for the Pomeranian to play in, they will get enough exercise on their own. But they can walk a longer distance without becoming over-tired and would greatly enjoy a long walk.
4. Life Expanision- About 15 years.
5. Brooming- The Pomeranian's very long, double coat should be brushed frequently.
