Take the Italy quiz There are many places I think are great places to visit in Italy:

  1. Maremma- on the South of Tuscany and North of Lazio. It's a wonderful sea-shore place with lots of great foods and friendly people.
  2. The Lake of Garda (Lago di Garda)- a very simple, pretty place in the North of Italy (mostly Lombardia, Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige.) A great place for hiking, swimming, and very peaceful, small towns.
  3. Piemonte. North-West of Italy, a very peaceful, beautiful region with lots of trees, "pianura", and farm land. Great for biking or walking. Its capital Torino, is also a very pretty city with lots of good food.
  4. Marche. North-East of Italy, a sea region with great beaches, and maybe a little more peaceful than Tuscany. Also great sea food.
  5. Rome. The capital; a very historic place with lots of wonderful museums, and ruins to visit. It also has a lot of great food, and is a very good city to walk around in. It is very interesting.
  6. Lastly, Milan. A very industrial city in the North of Italy known for fashion, soccer, and food. If you are interested in any of these things this is the perfect place for you.
Maybe before going to a foreign country you like to learn parts of the language. If this is a case maybe you should read the list of MUST know words:
