So many of the educated believe in evolution, not necessarily because the evidence is undeniable, but largely because of the wide spread acceptance from others in the scientific community. To go against the grain is not desirable.
If something is paraded around in almost all science text books as truth, whether the information is accurate or not (and tons of it isn't, even by many evolutionists own admission), of course most people are going to believe them. What those books fail to do is examine the many problems that are inherent in the theory of evolution, and therefore, since the problems go unexamined, people are unfairly taught that evolution is flawless, when indeed it is quite the opposite, full of severe flaws. Students deserve a fair education by being taught both the problems of evolution, and the evidence for Creation.
