WhereIsIt Utility

The WhereIsIt utility will find the menu in CIMS that a given program is on. If you've ever gone from menu to menu searching for a program, this could help.


Run Instructions:

At an AS400 command line key in WhereIsIt. You will see the main search screen. Key in ATTRIBUTES , and press enter.

Key in the some part of the program description to search for, and press enter. In the example given, I couldn't remember what menu the General Student Attributes was on, so I keyed in 'ATTRIBUTES', pressed enter, and saw that it's on menu SMS100.

Press F3 to exit the program.
