Bickfest 02 - The pictures
A secret location, mid Derbyshire
31st August - 1st September 2002

Lots of thumbnailed photos - there's limited bandwidth so you can't look at them all in detail in one session.

These photos courtesy of Pete Washington and John Bickerton.

The marquee under commissioning Amanda's beautiful family flag Who's training who? Damn the CSA, eh Keir? Camera - easier to operate than child Oi tink she's overfuelling a leettle Whatever anyone says, better than a Nova
The Rambler's Association remedial classes were slow to begin with See.. I don't mind poor photos of me! Gorilla seeks mist for profitable film opportunity The one in charge .. in a plastic pint mug Happy campers 'I think my hand's on fire!!'? The nuclear-glowing plastic bag fascintated all
Burning the non-believers Alex mocks the Invisible Man Back in the valleys, it took two hands to strangle him, like this.. The cardboard 'Toms' were selling well. How-diddly-doodly! Hello little girl.... hhhhhhhhh Mum looks cold - August.
... and the band played on I suspect David wants these two removed. Oh well! Mum's anti-freeze kicks in As David pulled the bung out, reality deflated and he was alone. Thing is, he looks like that sober! Speaking in depth to people you barely know..
William clearly did not have any alcohol hidden What's cookin'? The diehards party on, but it's too much for some.

My Pictures

Having finally developed my film, here are my (hazy) memories of the party...

Even a bus company contributed towards the party transportation...

But! Trinity Rd isn't on a bus route...

Not a breakdown, it's all planned this way

AND we got to the station on time!

What do you mean, "won't start?!"

Interior complete with contemporary foliage

Honest Ron's Guaranteed Used Motors -
when we guarantee they've been used, they've been USED

Just until we get that Volvo handbrake working..

The scene is set...

..and like Moses, Ron moved an arm and the scrap parted

... for a good night for everybody...

It's fine - nobody knew anybody

...especially Peter!

This is how we did it back in my day...
