This was a litter of kittens that were dumped on the side of the road. They were left at the entrance of our subdivision in an old beer box. They were much too young to be away from their mother, flea infested, and soaked in stale beer. We washed them over and over, fed them well, and little by little they grew up. There were 4 remales and 1 male. Toby, the only male, has a bad heart, but you wouldn't know it the way he chases his sisters around the house and beats them up. Unfortunately, Dilly didn't survive her spay surgery. Leah didn't make it to hers on time and now has 4 kids running wild through our house. We're trying to find homes for Leah, Hannah and Zena, as well as 2 of Leah's kids. Leah is pretty mellow and friendly. Her boys, Wee-Man and Inny, are both loving and super affection. Hannah and Zena are both a little high strung but are slowly mellowing since getting spayed. They used to run if you even looked in their direction, but now you can actually pet them as long as you don't rush at them too quickly.
