It has often been said that Malcolm X was a member of the Nation Of Islam (which is in no way affiliated with true Islam), but in reality, Malcolm X was a firm believer in true Islam. Here is a testament of his faith:

The hand written portion reads:

                             Declaration;
I do hereby declare that I am a true Muslim. I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the apostle of Allah, and His last prophet.
