The Morals of Equality Monologue

I’d just like to start out with a warning.  If you read this and find that you want to shoot me because I’m right then go ahead…I’ll be a martyr for good sense.  Which is odd for me.  You know because I am a nonsense writer.  Thank you.

Equal rights.  This is what we sailed over to this landmass for.  The right of religion, speech, press, bear arms, and all that Bill of Rights stuff.  But in this day in age that has gotten skewed.  See all the non-Christians want the Christians to stop being so vocal about God.  But by doing this they are hindering the Christians rights as well.  A funny situation I heard recently.  A Jewish woman didn’t approve of the Girl Scouts “Christmas” party because they were having a gift exchange and calling it a “Christmas” party.  Her daughter was the only Jewish scout in the pack.  Now I can understand where the mother would like her opinion or belief recognized.  Perhaps it should’ve been taught that not everyone believes this way or even just have the little Jewish girl have a dreidel spinning or something…I don’t know…I’m not Jewish.  But instead of being a concerned parent the Jewish mother went off.  Hitting the Scout leader with her Jew hat.  Of course this was a bit unacceptable, especially in front of the Girl Scouts.  She was ushered by the preacher of the church they were meeting in (because that is where Girl Scouts have their meetings [which for some reason the Jewish mom didn’t have a problem with]) to another room where the mom kept hitting the leader across the chest saying this was discriminatory and a travesty…while she was basically bashing the Christian beliefs in a Christian church.  After a few minutes of trying to talk her down the leader got annoyed with the woman and grabbed the Jew hat and said “If you hit me with that Jew beanie of yours one more time…” and threw it on the ground.  If you get down to it the Jewish mother could’ve been charged with assault.  And if you could convince a judge that her Jew cover was a deadly weapon you could add a few years onto the sentence.  But the leader didn’t press charges.  It went nowhere from there.  Just a women wanting to start a fight (sounds normal right? :P).  Now I’m not bashing Jews.  I would’ve felt the same if the roles were reversed and the Christian was striking the Jew.  But my point is by pushing our beliefs on other people we are infringing on their rights, no matter if it is the minority against the majority.  

        Speaking of majority and minority.  Did you know if you take all the minorities (blacks, Hispanics, Asians, women) add them up that they make white males (supposedly the majority) into a minority.  Now I’m all about equal rights and affirmative action is fine.  But when a white male loses a position in a job that he is qualified for to a person of some other origin or other facet of existence that isn’t qualified at all…that is discriminatory.  Now before everyone gets up in arms saying I am a racist Klan member know this, an acquaintance of mine, who happens to be African-American, says that I am right.  Now again I’m not saying that there’s not a Hispanic or Black man out there that isn’t qualified for a good job.  What I am saying is that if someone is more qualified…hire them.  They worked for the ability to be qualified…they weren’t born into it.  I know plenty of people who are black or Hispanic and women…who are just as qualified as me if not more that could have my job.  And if my boss would’ve hired them instead of me if we were all interviewed, I would have no problem to that.  But if he hired somebody that didn’t have any experience or even knowledge of our trade then I would be ticked off.  If I lost my job to a white guy that wasn’t qualified I’d be just as ticked.  The problem in this country isn’t racism or sexism, it extremist-ism.  Everyone takes everything to an extreme to much.  White people say blacks are the problem.  Blacks say that white people are just trying to get them down.  Women say that men (white and black men) are trying to keep them in the house doing dishes.  And it’s okay if a woman or a black person says something about how everyone is getting them down…treating them unfairly…but if a  white guy says something he’s a racist sexist prick.  Why is that.  We have black history month, because they are proud of their heritage, as they should be and deserve to be.  But I ask you this.  What would happen if we devoted a whole month to white history.  OH MY GOD….WHITE HISTORY!!!  YOU KKK BASTARDS WILL BURN IN HELL…is pretty much what kind of press it would get.  Why don’t we have a right to be proud of our history.  Why don’t we have a right to express our beliefs.  I’ll tell you why.  Because we are the supposed majority.  The man.  We are the enemy.  We are our own worst problem.  Why should we have pride we only settled and organized this friggin’ country.  Could the African-Americans have done it if we hadn’t?  Absolutely.  I think they could’ve done the same thing we did.  Did we treat them wrongly?  Sure we did.  Is that in the past…yes it is.  Should we have pushed the Native Americans off of their land the way we did.  No.  That isn’t what we should be proud of.  That’s the history everyone always thinks of though.  What if we wanted to celebrate the fact that we as the Caucasian race of people have our own rich history of music, accomplishments such as inventors, statesmen, soldiers, innovators, and our other history as long as it was in a tasteful manner and wasn’t forced on people to learn, then why is that a problem.  I don’t know.  You tell me.

        Now after writing this I’m sure I’ll have people telling me I am a fascist a-hole or a total prick and may even beat me to a pulp, but if they do…they just prove my point that no one is open to equality.  Everyone wants to be superior to everyone else.  Whites want to be known as superior to blacks.  Blacks want to be in control of things.  Women want to be known as a capable and ruling class.  In the words of that one guy…”Can’t we all just get along?”  And I answer…No.  We can’t.  We’ve all proven that.  So until we get taken over by a superior alien race or until God (or Allah, or Buddha, or the golden cow) comes back to claim us, we will all fight for superiority and respect of the other races, creeds, sexes, or preferences until we destroy each other off the face of the earth…making this rant of mine useless.  Thank you.
