In The News: In East Chicago, Indiana, where I was born and raised for half of my life, there is a recall election, but it's nearly not has big as the California one. And they're recalling the Mayor, who after the last offical election was indicted for stealing votes and the guy running against him is a big baby and got him all indicted, so the Surpreme Court or someone is like, "Well just have another election, AND NO STEALING!!" Along the way I met up with some dudes who worship's the movie "Eraserhead" and they all dress up like the characters and do weird things. And they made me babysit the strange baby-creature, which was just odd. So finally I get to Qubec and it turns out Winnifred already got saved by Issac from The Love Boat, so I had to fly back home. | Tuesday, December 21st, 2004 Sorry if I worried you all, I made it through 39 cent hamburger day ok. I been caught up on the new feature on my site, my "Movie & Album Cover Quiz", which was inspired by a few things: the movie quiz ii community I'm part of on Live Journal, an album quiz Felicia found, and the fact that I been wanting to do one for awhile. I was going to make it a community on Live Journal but I rather host it someplace that feels more at home and that anyone can participate. Well, anyway, yesterday was weird. I went with Bill to a restaurant called Johnel's and I went to pay the bill with my debit card and the stupid thing wouldn't work. After like 2 million attempts, Bill called his parents and they gave him money to pay for it. I called the debit card people and I do still have money on it but the restaurant wasn't taking the right amount out, so my card kept saying I didn't have that much on it. Least it's good to know it wasn't my fault. Stupid restaurant. Anyway, I decided to move the day of the quiz to Tuesday cause it seems to me anyone who wants to participate in it already has so why wait an extra day? Make sense? No? Too bad.
