The objective of this program is to provide professional financial analysts with an orientation to global capital markets with an emphasis on North America. The program also features the ADR product covering both regulatory and marketing issues. This is supplemented by case studies of Warren Buffett and George Soros' strategies. Program content includes North American, other major markets and emerging capital markets, survey of information services, case studies of successful investors, American Depositary Receipts, simulations, corporate visits and business research projects. Classroom sessions will either be an informal seminar or workshop format. Seminars will deal with conceptual materials in an open discussion. Workshops indicate a session where participants will actually perform research or produce a presentation that will demonstrate the acquisition of crucial conceptual material. The third format will be corporate or site visits. These will include presentations from professionals in the area being underscored by the visit. | |

Who should participate?
A company operating in today's global, interdependent economy needs managers who see their responsibilities from an international perspective. More specifically, a company that is involved in U.S. capital markets, either as an advisor to non-U.S. institutions and individuals or that is servicing non-U.S. companies in raising capital in U.S. markets through American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) will benefit from personnel who complete this program. Our goal is to provide cost-effective programs to help you develop this managerial perspective across business functions and from a strategic perspective. The Professional Financial Analysts' Program provides a framework for enhancing participant ability to make informed business decisions about issues facing management in the current global environment. This cross-cultural environment requires first class business communication skills in English.
What type of participant?
Participants will be professional financial analysts from non-U.S. markets. It may be possible for an experienced private investor to participate.
