Away in a Manger

No Christmas section would be complete without taking a moment to
remember the true meaning of Christmas and the reason we celebrate the holiday. As a child I always loved the song "Away in a Manger" with its sweet and gentle reminder of the birth of Jesus.

In our home we keep Christ in Christmas by:

~ lighting an Advent wreath
~ singing a religious carol at dinner each evening in December
~making a birthday cake for Baby Jesus
~buying a gift for a needy child
