*** "Tiffany you have to go to practice." Terin said. "I don't want to." Tiffany said shaking her head. "Tiffany, we have a show tomorrow night, and since we have a day off they want to do an extra rehearsal so we don't have to go in tomorrow morning." Terin said. "I know Terin, but this morning Lance didn't say one word to me, and I don't want see him again." Tiffany rolled her eyes. "Tiffany you can't keep running away from him." Angela said . All five girls we're sitting around in their bunks. Angela was in the bunk above Tiffany and Terin, Kaylee sat across from Tiffany and Terin, and Lauren was lying behind Kaylee reading the latest edition to Bop magazine. "Yeah, I know." Tiffany looked at her fingers, "But I can't pick one or the other." A sigh came from Lauren and all four pairs of eyes shot towards her. She looked up at the four girls looking at her, "What?" "What was that about?" Kaylee asked. "Nothing." Angela claimed innocently. Tiffany looked up at Lauren then back at Kaylee, "Did you see Chris today, I mean other than practice?" "No." Kaylee said. "Why not." Angela asked "Because were on separate busses." Kaylee said sarcastically. "I wish I could have a relationship like you and Chris do." Angela sighed. "Yeah really." Tiffany said. "Relationships suck." Terin said. "Hey Kaylee will you hand me my bag?" Tiffany asked pointing to the purple bag that underneath Kaylee. "Sure." Kaylee picked up the bag, but it was still open. Books poured out everywhere sending Tiffany and Kaylee picking them up, "You sure do write a lot." "I have to, to keep sane." Tiffany said. "Why?" Kaylee asked. "I don't trust many people, I mean there is not one page in those books that don't have some silly little thought or problem on them." Tiffany said. "May I?" Kaylee said asking tiffany if she could read the page. "Go ahead." Tiffany said sitting back on the bed. "Dear Diary, today I found something out that could surely change my life, today I found out I was going to have Arian child. I am so happy. There is nothing more in this world that I could want. I'm excited to see how much love this child is going to receive. I don't know how to tell him though. Will he be angry? Will he be happy? I know he can support me, I mean I'll be dancing on stage soon, I'll be going to college, we'll be happy." Kaylee read. All four girls looked at Tiffany, finally Kaylee spoke, "You were pregnant?" "Yeah, I was, I was so happy." Tiffany said remembering that day. "What happened?" Terin asked. "Read the next day." Tiffany said. "Diary- today was the worst day of my life, today my child died...." Kaylee paused then continued, "Arian punched me in my stomache because I told him to fuck off. I went over to his house this morning and told him the good news. Instead of him being delighted he told me I was a slut and it was someone else's." "God Tiffany," Kaylee looked up at her teary eyed friend. *** "Is JC there?" A small voice asked. "Ally?" Joey asked. "No, Christine." Christine said sounding confused. "OH! Hey!!!" Joey said excited to hear his good friends voice. "Hi Joe, look I'd love to talk but I REALLY need to talk to JC." Christine said. "Alright, hold on babe." Joey said placing the phone down and walking to JC, "Phone, it's Christine." "What?" JC said sounding confused but walked to the phone, "Hello?" "Hey, can you meet me to get a drink in a little bit?" Christine asked. "I'm not in Chicago anymore." JC said. "Oh, damn, well look I want us to start dating again." Chirstine said, "I realized what an idiot I am." "Christine, I love you, I really do, but I've found someone else, I love her too, and she has given me no reason to ever doubt that she loves me too." JC said. "I see." Christine sounded disappointed. "I'm sorry." JC said. "I am too." Christine said, then JC heard a click and that was the end of their conversation. *** Tiffany sat down in the new hotel room and laid back on the bed. She closed her tired eyes tightly. She was so tired- she didn't sleep last night or the night before. After about five minutes she began to feeling the sinking ness of sleep but it was interrupted by the sound of at knock at the door. "Who is it?" Tiffany asked. "Justin." She heard. "Oh hold on." She said getting up to open the door. "Hi." He said once he got a full view of her. "Hey." She smiled at him. "Where you busy?" Justin asked. "No, I was just resting." Tiffany said making her way back to the bed. "Oh, want me to leave?" Justin asked. "No." Tiffany said honestly. She really wanted him to stay. "Okay." Justin smiled relieved he could stay with her, "So what's up?" "Nothing, just Lance isn't talking to me."Tiffany said. "Oh, he's not talking to me either." Justin said. "In a way I feel bad, but in a way I don't, it's not like we're dating!" Tiffany said. "Uh huh, I agree." Justin said. "But anyway, did you want something?" Tiffany asked. "Yeah do want to go see a movie tonight?" Justin asked Tiffany. "Yeah, I'd love to." She smiled. "Great I'll come get you at 7 PM okay?" Justin smiled. "Alright, I'll be ready." Tiffany said. "Great, uh Tiff..." Justin said. "Yeah?" She looked at him. "Can I kiss you?" Justin asked. "Of course." Tiffany said. Justin kissed Tiffany softly then pulled away with a smile. He got up and walked to the door. He opened it and there stood Lance. Lance looked at him then looked into the room. "Is Tiffany here?" He asked with no sound of emotion in his voice. "Yes." Justin said then walked past Lance. "Can I come in?" Lance asked looking at Tiffany who was sitting up on her bed. "Yeah." Tiffany said. She watched him sit down on the chair across from the bed. They sat in silence for a couple of minutes and finally Lance said something. "I don't know what to say to you, I knew before I came in here but I forgot." Lance said. Tiffany watched him for a moment then said something, "Lance do you ever go and sit at the beach and look out at the ocean and you see the waves, they grow and grow and grow and then they crash, that's kind of how things were, it got great, and better and better then everything crashed. That's how it is now things are getting better and better, and I don't want to crash, do you understand?" "Tiffany I thought you wanted to be with me." Lance said finally looking at her. "I do Lance, but I also want to be with him, and I can't choose." Tiffany said making Lance shake his head, "I just want to be your guys friend." "Friends don't kiss Tiffany." Lance said. "No, they don't but Lance before Justin you were my friend and I kissed you too." Tiffany said. "Tiffany you have to choose, me or him." Lance said. "Lance if loved me you wouldn't make me choose." Tiffany said. "Sorry tiffany, I can't do that, you pick!" Lance said. "If you make me pick I'll leave, for good." Tiffany threatened. "I'm waiting for an answer." Lance said. "Fuck you Lance, you need to leave my room so I can pack." Tiffany said pushing Lance out of the room. Tiffany slammed the door behind her and pressed her body against the door and slid down. She began to cry into her hands. She then looked up and walked to the drawers where her stuff was and began to put it back into the bag. After about five minutes she was done. She opened the door and began to walk to down the hall after writing a note to Angela explaining why she left. On her way down she bumped into Justin. "Where are going?" Justin asked looking at the suitcase. "I'm leaving." Tiffany said. "Why?" Justin asked. "Because Lance told me I had to choose between you and him, I told him if he made me I'm leaving." Tiffany said. "No tiffany, you can't leave, we need you here, I need you here." Tiffany running his hand down Tiffany's arm into her hand. "I don't know Justin." Tiffany said looking away. "Please Tiffany, don't leave." Justin asked with pleading eyes. "Fine." ***
