Alexis walked back into the club. Her green eyes
grazed over the bodies that consumed the dance floor.
She finally caught view of JC who was talking to
Natalie. His blue eyes shrunk as laughter exploded
from his mouth. She smiled at the sight of his
amusement and made her way towards him.
“Lex, what’s going on?” JC asked once he saw her.
“Follow me, we need to talk.” Alexis said. Her green
eyes twinkled towards Natalie and she smiled.
“Alright,” The two of them sauntered through the crowd
of people sharing drinks and talking about the day
they had. JC’s hand clasped onto Alexis as they made
their way into the night’s cool air, “Alexis what’s
up?”
“Okay so here’s the story. Justin and I met in grade
school. We were best friends ever since. When we hit
junior high he decided he liked me more than a friend
so we agreed to date. Well I fell in love. Then our
freshman year he had to move to Orlando with his
family. We kept in contact for a couple of months.
Constantly telling each other four years wasn’t long
and that we loved each other. Then dance got serious,
and so did he. I stopped getting letters and I
stopped sending them.”
“Well, that’s quite a story. I hope this isn’t going
to affect what we have. Because I really like it.” JC
smiled and ran his fingers through her straight blonde
hair.
Alexis placed her hand on top of JC’s and closed her
eyes in comfort then looked up, “I told AJ a couple of
days ago that you were the closest thing to my first
love, or Justin, and it made me feel safe.”
“That’s good then?” JC asked.
Alexis smiled and moved closer to JC’s face, “It’s
great.” She pressed her full pink lips against his.
The prickly fur on his face tickled Alexis’s nose but
she seized to giggle. She fell into the moment. The
two broke apart and let their eyes open again. JC
knew then she was pure magic.
“So what does this mean Alexis?” JC asked. His blue
orbs searched her eyes.
“I don’t know, what do you want it to mean?” Alexis
asked softly.
“I want it to mean, that I’m your Justin.” JC
snickered at what he had just said.
“Why don’t you just be my JC?” Alexis asked as she ran
her fingers through his brunette curls.
“Sounds good.”

Justin walked into the empty house and glanced through
the living room. No sight of AJ. He then continued
through the house. He knew Arianna was a drama queen,
God knows what she’s up to. He made his way through
the hall to her an explosion of chuckles come from his
bedroom. He walked over to the open door slowly and
peeked in to see Arianna on the floor looking through
old photo albums.
“AJ?” He said softly as he entered the room. He
watched as Arianna flipped from her stomach on to her
fore arms and peek her head over her shoulder. Her
brown eyes grew and she hopped to her feet.
“Oh my God, Justin I haven’t seen you in so long!
Marry me! Hump me! HAVE MY BABIES!!” Arianna screamed.
She then her face go serious then she nonchalantly
walked back to her spot on the floor.
“Grow up Arianna.” Justin rolled his eyes and threw
his coat onto the bed.
“Me? Grow up?” Arianna was astonished. Justin didn’t
normally speak to her like that.
“Yeah you, I swear, is it not okay for me to run off
and talk to an old friend who I haven’t seen in years.
Someone who I’ve had a real and deep past with
without me having to run after you because you had a
fucking hissy fit.” Justin said. He kept his tone low
but stern. Which was completely opposite of AJ who
usually handled things in a much louder manor.
“J , I can’t believe you’re talking to me like this.
It’s because of Alexis, or, I’m sorry, Alexandra isn’t
it?” AJ stood with her hands pressed firmly on her
hips.
“No Arianna, it’s not just Alex. It’s Caitlin, or
Natalie, or any other girl that looks as though
they’ve glanced my way.” Justin shouted while
startling Arianna.
“Justin, who are you?” AJ was completely thrown off.
She’s never seen Justin act like that before.
“AJ, I’m going to stay with Lance tonight. Call me in
the morning when you decide that you want to have an
adult relationship. Oh and tomorrow at the studio
when you go in to dance with Alexis, don’t bitch at
her, and don’t blame her. This is your wrong doing
not hers.” With that Justin grabbed his jacket and
keys and exited the room.

Nina tossed her dark brown hair into a tight bun as
she entered the studio where Arianna was running
through the eight counts with Karyann. She looked
around the room from any sight of the one person she
disliked the most, Alexis. She then made her way over
to Arianna.
“AJ.” Nina interrupted the two women. AJ sighed and
rolled her eyes, she hated being bothered especially
that morning.
“What Nina?” AJ asked.
“I was wondering about the show. If you guys found me
a main part.” Nina bit her lip.
“I don’t know Nina. You need to ask Alexis she’s the
coordinator and she has all the authority.” AJ
answered then continued with Karyann. Nina rolled her
eyes. She hated Alexis more than anything. She hated
her for the simple fact that she was better than Nina.
Nina exited the main dance studio and walked down to
the front lobby.
“Heather, do you know where Alexis is?” Nina asked.
“Um, actually Justin just picked her up for lunch
you’ll have to call her cell phone if you need to talk
to her.” Heather glanced up at Nina for a second then
shot her eyes back down to her paper work.
“Damn it, thanks Heather.” Nina sighed and went back
to the locker room. She grabbed her cell phone and
dialed Alexis’s number, “Alexis?” Nina said once she
heard hello on the other end.
“This is. What’s up Nina?” Alexis spoke as she
watched Justin sing the song on the radio completely
off key.
“Uh, I was wondering if you were going to give me a
lead role in the dance show.” Nina kind of shot it out
into the air.
“Nina, I don’t know. You and I have talked about it.
You need to earn your part. Something tells me you
don’t want to try because you think just because
you’re my boyfriend’s little sister I’m going to jump
over buildings to place you in front. Audition like
the rest of the girls.” Alexis stopped giggling and
made her tone serious.
“Fine.” Nina said. Without a good bye she hung up the
phone.
“Was that serious dance business?” Justin laughed as
he searched around for the restaurant he wanted to
take Alexis to.
“Something like that,” Alexis sighed then moved
towards Justin, “God J, it’s so good to be with you
again.”
“I know, I felt like I’ve lost a part of me and just
found it.” Justin looked over at Alexis. Although he
was head over heels in love with Arianna, he could
help but dig up his old feelings every time she ran
her fingers along his face.
“We have a lot to talk about.” Alexis let her voice
grow serious. Half of her could let her world drop
and be back with Justin for the rest of her life but
she fell in love. She knew what was right.
