Chapter 16

Justin looked over at Alexis. Her blonde curls rested between her two bare breasts. Her green eyes were covered by barely there white eye shadow covered eye lids. The eye shadow looked like it was sweated off. Her almost perfect mouth was slightly parted and made short and soft moaning noises. He couldn’t believe what he had done. AJ was his pride and joy, his world, his fiancé’. He turned from his side to his back and sighed aloud. Although he did feel almost as though he was at peace. For those two hours of passion with Alexis he didn’t hurt anymore. He no longer hurt. It was almost as though they were one again, like the past. He looked to his left to see the back of a frame that he had turned around while the two were having sex. He picked it up and looked at the beautiful brown eyes that twinkled back at him.
“I’m sorry AJ, we need to end it.”
After those words he heard some shuffling next to him and a sigh. He felt Alexis’s cool hands brush along his warm chest and run on his stomach. He pulled her hand up and kissed it softly then placed it back onto his stomach. He heard another sigh then he heard Alexis practically moan, “Now that I have you back in my arms Justin Timberlake, I’m not letting you go.”
A laugh escaped Justin lips and he replied, “Okay Lexie.”

Justin and Alexis walked into the hospital room to see AJ sitting up talking to an almost younger version of her except; she had blonde hair instead of an auburn color. She was striking. Justin smiled at the two women talking and walked past the doctors.
“J! Hey hun come here, come here.” Arianna told him to her.
“Hey baby, how are you?” Justin asked.
“I’m doing a lot better than I was yesterday, um, Justin this is Renee, my sister.” Arianna introduced the two.
“Renee? Oh wow, I’ve heard so much about you.” Justin thrusted his hand out to Renee.
“Oh this must be the infamous Justin.” Renee shook his hand as well.
“And that’s Alexis Rae.” AJ pointed in Alexis’s direction.
“Oh my God! Alexis I’m like a HUGE fan, you’re such an awesome dancer. Your like my favorite, besides AJ of course!” Renee practically leaped over to Alexis to touch her hand.
“Well thanks.” Alexis laughed softly.
“Renee did a bone marrow test and our bone marrow matches so we can do a transplant.” AJ announced.
“Age, that’s great.” Alexis said still not moving from her spot.
“Wow baby, that’s great.” Justin planted his warm lips on AJ’s cold chalky colored forehead.
“Um Justin, you and I need to talk. In private.” Arianna eyed Alexis and Renee who were standing next to each other.
“That’s fine Alexis and I can talk about when she won the International Dance Compition in 1998.” Renee said as she practically dragged Alexis out of the room with her.
“What’s up Ari?” Justin said as he sat by the window. He didn’t even think about sitting on the bed with her.
“Justin, I have to stay here for two months to get the proper treatment.” Arianna didn’t dare to look into Justin’s eyes as he sighed loudly.
“Arianna I can’t stay here for two months, I have to go back home tonight or I’m out of a job.” Justin said.
“I don’t give a flying fuck about your job Justin, I’m talking about the wedding were supposed to have in two weeks.” Arianna said furiously.
“Oh.” Justin said. What was he supposed to say? He figured the wedding was off anyway.
“Look Justin, I need to do this by myself. I can’t handle being with you knowing you’re with Alexis all of the time and…”
“That’s not fair AJ, you’re making as though I’m going to fuck her because you’re not around.” Justin snapped.
“J, it’s not just Alexis. It’s our relationship. I can’t do it. I need to do this without other worries.” AJ sighed. She couldn’t even control the tears that were streaming down her face and falling into her hospital gown.
Justin felt the hot sting of tears building up in his eyes. He was supposed to break up with AJ. He wasn’t supposed to feel guilty. He felt like he was Arianna in a painful experience that she didn’t deserve. He couldn’t hold it back anymore. He pressed his head against the window and began to sob, “We’ve been through so much in this past year Arianna. I always thought it would make us stronger. So why do I feel so weak?”
“Justin.” Arianna didn’t know how to answer his question. She was just as confused as he was and possibly asking herself the same question. She pulled herself out of the bed and walked to Justin’s side. She wrapped her arms around his shaking body.
“I love you Arianna Jensen.” Justin looked up into her cloudy brown eyes.
“I love you too.” She whispered. Arianna reached down and pressed her quivering lips into his. She could feel his bottom lip twitching against hers. The two pulled away and Arianna pulled the engagement ring off of her finger and placed it in Justin’s hand.
“No Age, keep it.” Justin said as he placed it back in her hand.
“Justin, please.” Arianna said as she put it back in his hand. Justin didn’t say a word. His heart was broken. Even though he was going to break up with her in the first place he knew deep down he couldn’t do it. Now everything he’s done was just shoved down his throat. He stood up from his spot and walked out of the hospital room. The tears that were still positioned on his cheeks were wiped away with the hem of his shirt. He walked into the lobby to see Alexis standing in front of the vending machine getting herself a Gatorade. He stood there and watched her bend down and pull the drink out. She glanced over and noticed Justin standing there. She took a couple steps toward him and he began walking her way.
“Justin, are you okay?” She asked him as she ran her fingers down his cheek.
“No.” Justin let his head fall onto Alexis’s shoulder and he began to cry.

Heather walked into the room where the four girls were walking through the 8-counts that they were taught almost months ago. They were sad about Arianna in all honesty but there were really upset over the fact that the production was probably going to be cut. Heather sighed and shut the music off.
“Girls, Alexis will be back tomorrow and she said that you guys will finish the last few dances and the production will still go on.” Heather said. The girls cheered loudly.
“Why isn’t she staying with AJ?” Elle Mae asked.
“We need her back here. I didn’t even want her to leave in the first place. Besides she said that AJ’s sister visited her in the hospital and they did a bone marrow test. So she’s getting the transplant." Heather informed the girls.
“That’s awesome!” Nina said excitingly.
“Yeah, now listen, Alexis has been through a lot, I need you girls to do what you need to do. Listen to her, pay attention, and do what she says without lip.” Heather said purposely-eyeing Nina.

Alexis glanced over at Justin who was looking out of the window. She didn’t know how to treat him. She didn’t know if she should kiss his pouting lips. She didn’t know if she run her fingers along his tear died cheeks. She quietly placed her hand on top of his. He let his concentration break away from outside of the window and turned to Alexis wondering eyes. He leaned over and placed a kiss on her cheek. She let her eyes move over to his and she placed a smile on her lips. She had no idea what she was going to do once they got back to Orlando. JC was still in her heart with out a doubt, but Justin was her world.
“J, what’s going to happen now?” Alexis asked.
“I don’t know Lex. I just don’t know.” Justin sighed softly and let his attention go back out the window.
She let a sigh leave her lips. She didn’t want to be lonely and she knew without Justin there would only be loneliness.
