More Than A Feeling <

~*~*Chapter 6*~*~

***

She felt her knees turn to jelly as she made that
“long” walk to the sink. Tiffany then turned to
Liberty, “You look.”
“Okay.” Liberty said picking up the small object. Her
eyes filled with water. She smiled at Tiffany then
her smile slowly faded into a undistinguished look.
She turned her head and then her brown eyes met
Tiffany’s green eyes.
“I am huh?” Tiffany asked.
Liberty smiled at her and wrapped her arms around
Tiffany’s shivering body, “Yes.”

Tiffany felt her legs come from underneath her. She
feel banging her knees on the floor. She curled up
into a ball and held herself tightly, rocking back and
forth.

“So when will you be back?” Justin asked.
“Soon, it’s what 10:15pm, I’ll be back no later than
10:30 pm I’m just going to get something from circle
k, want something?” JC asked snatching up the car
keys.
“Yah, a water.” Justin answered.
“You want anything babe?” JC asked his quiet and
pale-faced girlfriend.
“No.” She squarely answered.
“You okay?” JC asked.
“Yes.” Tiffany said forcing herself to smile so he
would just leave her alone.

JC left the room and Justin smacked Tiffany in her
head lightly.

“What the hell?” She said putting her hand on the spot
Justin lightly tapped.
“Something is wrong!” Justin said.
“No it’s not!” Tiffany said.
“Liar, something is going on with you I can sense it.”
Justin insisted that he knew what was going on.
“Justin! Nothing is going on.” Tiffany said looking
at him strait in his blue eyes.
“You’re PG!” Justin said as his eyes grew.
“How did you know that?” Tiffany asked.
“You just told me!” Justin said.
“No I didn’t.” Tiffany protested.
“Yes you did with your eyes.” Justin said, “Oh my gosh
Tiff, what are you going to do?”
“Gee, I don’t know Justin!” Tiffany said letting her
eyes leave him and go back to the bright TV with I
Love Lucy on the screen.
“Tiffany, you haven’t told Jase yet huh?” Justin
asked.
“No.” Tiffany said quietly.
“Oh, damn.” Justin said realizing the conversation was
really upsetting Tiffany by the curling chin and her
glossy eyes so he decided to change the subject, “So
what would you think if I shaved my head?”
Tiffany threw her pillow at Justin, “EW!”

***

Liberty walked into the room twirling her brown hair.
She noticed at passed out tiffany and Justin on the
couch. She shook Tiffany a little bit trying not to
wake every up in the house. Tiffany looked up and
quietly squeaked, “JC?”
“No, he’s not here.” Liberty said.
“What?” Tiffany popped up.
“Why?” Liberty asked.
“What time is it?” Tiffany asked looking around.
“About 11:30pm.” Liberty answered.
“Did JC ever come home?” Tiffany asked.
“No.” Liberty asked continuing to stay confused.
“OH my gosh, where the hell is he?” Tiffany turned to
Justin and shook him a little, “Justin, JC is still
gone!”
“What?” Justin said trying to figure out what was
going on exactly.
“JC is gone!” Tiffany answered.
“Well get up!” Justin said pushing Tiffany slightly to
get her off of the couch.

***

Tiffany’s arm was clutched around Justin’s as they
walked through the starch white hospital. Justin,
Tiffany, Diane, Leanette, Angel, and Chris all arrived
at JC’s room.

“Im going to go in first.” Tiffany said.
“Let me go with.” Justin insisted.
“Alright.” Tiffany said.

Tiffany shoved the door open softly to find the victim
overpowered by a mass of clear-snake like tubes
haphazardly slithered through the human outlets,
whether they we’re natural or man-made. Tiffany
through herself into Justin at the site of the
unyielding life support systems cluttered on the floor
hiss and wirr air, and life into the semi-languid
figure. Justin slowly pressed Tiffany towards the
nurse who has been filling out some forms.

“Are you Tiffany?” The nurse asked.
“Yes.” she said semi-muffled because Tiffany’s face
was still in Justin’s cheats.
“Okay I need to sign something’s.” The nurse told her.
“Can you tell me what happened?” An impatient Justin
asked.
“He was in a TERRIBLE auto-mobile accident. He lucky
he is still alive.” The nurse said, “You’ll have to do
the tour with out him for two weeks then after two he
still can’t dance.”
“DAMN!” Justin said.
“Was it his fault?” Tiffany asked.
“No, a drunk driver hit him.” The nurse said, “Is his
sister out there?”
“No but ask them to call her she’ll be right down.”
Justin answered for a soundless Tiffany.

Tiffany moved cautiously towards JC whom was trying
hard to breath. She looked at his face. His eyes
were shut tightly. His face was pale and cut. She
ran her soft hand down his smooth skin and placed her
head in his hand.
