Justin pressed his eyes shut then opened them again.
Yep. She was still there. Her hair was cascading
down her face framing her exquisite brown eyes. She
had a light amount of make up and the make up was all
natural colors making her look very genuine. She
placed a little lip-gloss on her lips causing them to
look more enticing. Her small body was dressed in a
long tan fur trimmed coat with white halter-top and
hip hugger jeans underneath. She smiled at him and
walked to the mirror to make sure every curly she
pressed into her hair was right.
Justin took a hold of Tiffany’s arm and walked her
through the hall to a private lobby that lead to
Brooklyn’s private dining hall. It was amazing. Of
course because of Christmas the room was decorated in
magnificent colors of green and red. Christmas lights
crawled through out the walls into reefs and hollies.
A large Christmas tree extended to the ceiling with
silver and white coating the green branches.
Not too far from the tree sat a large table already
accompanied by multiple people. Tiffany followed
Justin to the table at a slow pace. She cringed at
the idea of sitting with people she didn’t know.
Justin sat her down and looked at the eyes that were
pressed deep into him.
“Guys, this is Tiffany,” Justin introduced, “Tiff,
this is Lance, Karenia, Brooklyn, Chris, and
Elizabeth, everyone else will be here soon.”
“Hi.” Everyone chimed at the same time.
“Hello.” Tiffany replied.
“Tiff, welcome.” Chris said shoving a chair out for
Tiffany to sit in. Once she got settled her eyes moved
up to the two people in front of her.
“Baby!” Tiffany said relieved to see her best friend
standing before her.
“Tiff, thank God you’re here.” Baby whispered in
Tiffany’s ear as she hugged her friend.

“Venessa, let me in.” Tiffany demanded.
“NO!” Venessa yelled out.
“Venessa, you can’t stay mad at us forever!” Baby said
to the shut door.
“Yes I can!” Venessa yelled.
“Venessa Thomas open this damn door NOW!” Tiffany
demanded.
The two girls stepped back as the door flung open.
They got full view of the blood-shot eyed girl
standing before them. Anger coated her features.
“You two are the worst best friends someone could
have!” Venessa yelled.
“Nessa, they invited us.” Baby tried to explain.
“Still, it’s common courtesy to say, my other friend
Venessa will be all by herself desperately searching
for her best friend because she’ll want to eat
breakfast with me, so do you mind if she comes too?”
Venessa cried.
Tiffany and Baby’s eyes met. Either of them was
actually thinking Venessa wouldn’t have someone to eat
with or know, before either girl could say anything to
her Venessa slammed the door shut.
“She’ll get over it.” Baby said.
“Oh, I know she will.” Tiffany said.
Venessa kept her ear pressed up to the door until it
sounded like Tiffany and Baby left. She then opened
the door when it looked like everyone was gone Venessa
walked out into the hallway before she could get any
further she felt two arms wrap around her. A scream
tried to escape her lips but another pair of hands
covered her mouth and eyes. The two people pulled
Venessa into a room and let her go.
“You going to fucking pay for this! Do you know who I
am…do you know who my dad…” Vanessa stopped once the
lights turned on.
“Forgive me?” Tiffany asked.
“Tiff, fine, whatever.” Venessa pouted.
“Venessa,” Tiffany made sure she had Venessa’s
attention, “Promise?”
“Yes.” Venessa said making sure she was looking right
into Tiffany’s eyes.
“Cool because were going clubbing tonight.” Baby said.
“Alright.” Venessa said forcing herself to smile.
“Let’s go see what we’re going to wear.” Baby
squealed.

“Brooklyn. This girl is amazing like I never believed
in love at first sight till I met her.” Justin
searched through his suitcase.
“Well, I guess, as long as she treats you good, she
seems like a nice girl.” Brooklyn said as she fixed
her hair.
“Brooklyn, I don’t think you realize how much I miss
you.” Justin said now sitting next to his cousin.
“I know I miss our talks.” Brooklyn said looking up at
Justin. She really missed him. Justin was her best
friend in the world and poof he’s gone. All for his
silly dream. Although she couldn’t continue to be
upset with Justin because if it wasn’t for him she
wouldn’t have been able to make her dream hotel.
“You know we were in California and I saw this girl
and I thought it was you and I ran up to her and gave
her the biggest hug. When I let go of her she was
bawling. She was so surprised that Justin Timberlake
had ran up and hugged her, but I was so heartbroken
because it wasn’t you.” Justin told her.
“Awww, J, thank you sweetheart.” Brooklyn said running
her hand down Justin’s face.
“I don’t know, it gets so lonely and I know I have
four best friends with me, but they aren’t you
Brooke.” Justin said but, Brooke’s soft lips quickly
hushed him, only this time it was a passionate kiss.
Justin didn’t know how to react until he felt his lips
spread apart with her tongue, “Brooke, what are you
doing?”
“I’m sorry Justin, I’m in love with you.” Brooklyn
admitted.
“Brooke you’re my cousin.” Justin said.
“By marriage.” Brooklyn said.
“So that’s gross were from Tennessee not Kentucky.”
Justin said.
“Look, I’m sorry.” Brooklyn said pulling herself off
the bed.
“I’m sorry Brooke but geez.” Justin said, his fingers
still touching his lips.”
“No, I’m going back to my room, I’ll see you at
dinner.” Brooklyn smiled then left the room.
