Chapter One
Justin’s blue eyes traced the image standing before
him. A smile spread across his face as his best
friend danced around in a Santa Clause suit. Joey’s
body moved back and forth as his girlfriend Audra
decorated the hallway area of Joey’s house. Christmas
carols rang through the house as the rest of the guys
helped decorate Joey’s large house. Justin’s
entertainment was quickly interuppeted by the ring of
his cell phone.
“Hello?” He answered moving away from the rukus that
was occurring around him by going outside into the
cool Orlando air.
“Hey Justin.” The soft voice said on the other line.
“Who is this?” He asked unfamiliar with the voice on
the other end.
“I am upset Justin, oh my gosh, it’s Brooke.” She said
with disappointment in her voice.
“Brooklyn!! How the hell are you?” Justin asked a
smile spreading across his face.
“I’m great, look, I know we haven’t spent a time
together in forever and I really would like to see you
over the holidays.” Brooklyn said.
“Are you still living in Arizona?” Justin asked.
“Yeah, in Flagstaff, and I finally own that hotel, and
so I’ll give you and your friends each a room, and you
can stay with me.” Brooklyn said.
“Um, yeah, actually that sounds really good,” Justin
was excited at the fact his favorite cousin wanted him
to come see him, “I’ll run it by the guys and I’ll see
if they want to.”
“Awesome!” Brooklyn said.
“When do you want us down there?” Justin asked.
“Well, as soon as y’all can come, just give me a
call.” Brooklyn said.
“Alright, what’s your new number?” Justin asked.
“520-467-9930.” Brooklyn said.
“I’ll call you later tonight because all the guys are
here and I’ll throw it at them now.” Justin said.
“Cool Ju, talk to you later.” Brooklyn said
good-bye.
“Yeah, see ya.” Justin said as he hit the end button.
He placed his phone in his back pocket and walked back
into the warm house. He walked back into the living
room where the guys were dancing to Christmas tunes,
“GUYS! I have a proposal for you.”
“Oh yeah, and what might that be my good man?” JC
asked.
“My cousin Brooke wants us to go spend Christmas in
her brand new private hotel in the mountains of
Arizona.” Justin said to his best friends.
“Does it even get cold in Arizona?” Chris laughed.
“Chris, dude, it snows in Flagstaff.” Lance laughed.
“I knew that!” Chris defended.
“It sounds like a great idea,” Joey said wrapping his
arm around Audra, “Only if the girls can come.”
“Of course.” Justin smiled.
“Awesome, when do we leave?” JC asked.
“As soon as possible, how about we leave not tomorrow
but the day after?” Justin asked.
“Sounds like a good idea.” Joey said, “We should start
packing tonight.”
“Yep, and I’ll call Brooke.” Justin said walking away.

Tiffany’s brown eyes grew with excitement as her best
friend ran her credit card through the slot at
Charolette Rouse. Both girls decided they’d go
shopping since they were going to Flagstaff where it
snowed unlike Mesa, a smaller city outside of Phoenix.
Tiffany, Venessa, and Baby all bought rooms to a new
large hotel up in Flagstaff to spend Christmas
together with. Tiffany, Venessa, and Baby have been
best friends since they were in 8th grade. A lot of
people always thought they were too different to hang
out but in all actuality they were all very much
alike. Tiffany and Venessa left the store and made
their way through the mall to find Baby.
“YO!” Baby hollered at her two friends that had their
back to her, “Tiff, Nessa!”
Tiffany and Venessa spun around to face their friend
when Tiffany spoke up, “SKANK!”
“Dude, I got the HOTTEST jacket, I am so excited.”
Baby smiled pulling the light blue jean jacket out of
her bag.
“Baby, it’s going to be really cold out there and
you’re buying a jean jacket, don’t you think you need
something a little warmer?” Tiffany asked, her brown
eyes exploring the light jacket.
“Well, what did you buy?” Baby asked pushing her blond
hair behind her ear leaving her dark pink streaks
framing her face.
“I bought the hottest coat, it’s knee-length, tan,
with a fur trim.” Tiffany said running her fingers
through her long auburn hair.
“Well, whatever, because my jacket is PHAT!” Venessa
said looking at her two friends, as she pulled her
long black straight hair into a pony tail, exposing
her honey colored eyes that were detailed in earth
tone eye shadow and long eye lashes.
“Venessa, it’s just plain leather coat.” Tiffany
rolled her eyes.
“So, it’s still better than yours.” Venessa was always
like that, a lot of people labeled her as a snob even
thought most of the time Venessa was a very loving
person. She always cared more about her friends than
herself.
“Y’all we are leaving tonight, I am so exultant.” Baby
said spreading her lips into a large smile.
“Exultant?” Tiffany laughed.
“Hey guys,” Venessa interrupted the two.
“Yeah?” The two girls turned to face Venessa. Tiffany
and Baby always got along better than Venessa. It
wasn’t like they liked each other better, it’s jus
they had more in common and they had known each other
much longer.
“Look.” Venessa pointed to the guys walking out of the
Journey’s store.
“Wow!” Tiffany exclaimed.
“Yeah, let’s follow them.” Baby laughed.
