Tiffany walked down the stairs to see Chris standing there in a white button up shirt with a pair of black slacks on. She smiled. He looked nice. Hell if I didn't know any better I'd think he was trying to get with my woman. "Chris, you look very nice." Tiffany smiled. "You do too." Chris said. Tiffany was wearing a black sparkling dress. I loved that dress on her. "Well, you two kids have fun, and don't stay out too late." I laughed. "Bye babe, I love you." Tiffany said planting a kiss on my cheek. "Bye love." I responded. "BYE MOMMA! BYE UNCLE CHRIS!" Alexis squealed. "Bye babygirl, be good for daddy." Tiffany bent over to hug Alexis. "See ya kiddo." Chris leaned down to kiss her forehead. Tiffany and Chris made their way out to Chris's car. Chris tried his hardest to be the perfect gentleman. He opened the door for Tiffany as she climbed in. The two drove to a little restaurant they used to go to in high school. Tiffany and Chris were the closest out of all of the whole group. No one ever understood it because Chris was so goofy and Tiffany was always so down to earth and serious. "Wow Chris, it's been forever since we've been here." Tiffany smiled. "I know!" Chris exclaimed. "Well, this was very sweet of you hun." Tiffany said locking arms with Chris. "I just think we need to talk, it's been too long." Chris said. "I agree." Tiffany said once they reached the reservation host. "Reservation for Kirkpatrick." Chris said. "Chris? Tiffany?" The two heard a voice from behind them. They two turned to see Rain. "Rain! We thought you disappeared!" Tiffany said running over to hug her friend. "No, it's just, once the thing with Nina and Joey started, I had to go." Rain said. "Why?" Chris asked. "Because, I'm in love with him. I heard they had a kid too." Rain said. "Yeah." Tiffany replied. "I also heard you two were friends." Rain smiled. "Heh, yeah." Tiffany looked down. "Mr. Kirkpatrick, Mrs. Timberlake, your table is ready." The waiter said. "Well come say good-bye to me before you leave." Rain said. "I will bye bye hun." Tiffany said. "See ya Rain." Chris said from behind Tiffany. The waiter took Tiffany and Chris's coat and sat the two down at the back table. Once he got their drink orders and got them a menu the waiter was gone to give the two some privacy. "So, how are things with Amy?" Tiffany asked. "They're good." Chris said softly. He didn't seem to have much emotion to that answer. "Just good?" Tiffany question. "I don't know, I mean sometimes I question if she was the right girl or not ya know?" Chris said. "Yeah, but everyone goes through that Chris, it'll pass with time." Tiffany said. ** Lance kissed JC good-bye and made his way back towards the house. He stopped halfway to watch JC drive away. He loved JC so much, he never understood why he was so confused with his feelings towards Nina and JC were such a mess. He walked back into the house and picked up the phone to call Nina. He had to tell her how he was feeling. "Nina?" Lance asked. "Hey!" Nina said. "What are you doing?" Lance asked. "Sitting here with Joey." Nina said as she laughed at Joey who was bouncing Vanessa on his knee. "Oh, what are you two up to?" Lance asked, not really caring, but he wanted to sound like he did. "Nothing, were playing with our daughter, and going to have dinner soon." Nina said. "You two are hanging out a lot lately." Lance said. "Yeah, well, were dating now." Nina said. "You are?" Lance's heart sunk. He loved JC, and he would never leave JC for Nina, but he still wanted to hear that she felt the same way. "Yep, we made it official." Nina smiled. You could hear her smile in her voice. "Oh, well hey, I have food on the stove and it's going to burn if I don't take it off, I'll talk to you later." Lance said trying to find any excuse to get her off the phone. "All right hun, well call me later." Nina said. "I will, bye." Lance said then quickly hung up the phone before Nina could say anymore. Lance walked back towards the TV and turned it on. He decided he'd spend the day with himself, just to have some thinking time alone. He was always turning to his friends with his JC/Nina drama. What do they know anyway, they're all straight. He would call Tiffany but she's out with Chris. There was only one person he could actually call. He didn't even know if it was a good idea but she had always been there for him, she had always been his shoulder to cry on. And although the two haven't talked since her and him broke it off before Nina. He knew it was time to call her. "Danielle?" Lance asked. *** "So how was your dinner?" Chris asked. "It was really good thank you baby." Tiffany said placing her hand gently on Chris's. "Tiffany, I don't know if I ever got to thank you." Chris said. "Thank me for what?" Tiffany asked as she took a drink of her wine. "Want a list? For being my best friend, for believing in me, for caring for me, for letting me be Alexis's god father." Chris said. "Chris, you're very welcome. I love you like family, you're the closest thing I've ever had to a brother." Tiffany smiled. Chris moved his chair closer to Tiffany's and planted a kiss on her cheek. She smiled then turned back to face her food. But Chris pulled her face to meet his. He pulled her face closer and pressed his lips on hers. It wasn't like their normal kiss. It was different this time. It was long, and she could feel his passion. Finally she pulled away. "Chris what are you doing?" Tiffany asked. "I'm sorry, Tiffany, I need to be honest with you. "What?" Tiffany asked. "I have been in love with you since high school. To this day, I'm still in love with you." Chris said. "Chris," Tiffany paused, "What about Amy?" "Amy, I love her too, but she's not you." Chris said. "Look Chris, I love you with all of my heart, you are my best friend, and I love Justin." Tiffany said. "I know, I just want you to know." Chris put his head down but Tiffany quickly pulled it back up. "Chris, I'm not mad at you," Tiffany said, "But I think it's time we go." "All right." Chris said pulling the correct amount of money out and placing it on the table. Tiffany walked over to where Rain was talking to one of the bartenders. She tapped on her shoulder and wrapped her arms around her. "See you later Rain." Tiffany said. "All right babe." Rain said. "Call me sometime." Tiffany said as she kissed Rain's cheek lightly. "All right, BYE CHRIS." Rain shouted to catch Chris's attention. "Bye." Chris said silently as he waved. "Is he okay?" Rain turned back to Tiffany. "Call me, and I'll tell ya." Tiffany said. "All right see y'all later." Rain said good-bye to her friends. ** "Let's just keep this our little secret kay?" Chris asked. "All right." Tiffany said. She knew full well she had to tell Justin, she told Justin everything. "Bye Tiff." Chris said planting a conservative kiss on her cheek. "Good-night Chris." Tiffany said turning to walk in the house. Tiffany opened the door to see me standing in front of a crying Alexis along side with a crying Joshua in my arms. Tiffany laughed to see the panicked look on my face. What a wonderful wife huh? When Alexis heard Tiffany laugh she ran into her mom's arms. "MOMMA!!" She cried. "What's wrong baby?" Tiffany asked brushing the tears off Alexis's cheeks. "She did it!" I said walking out of the room with a still crying Joshua. "Momma, Daddy was being mean to me, he said he couldn't hold me because he had to hold Joshua, that means he no love me no more." Alexis cried. "Baby, stop crying," Tiffany said calming Alexis down, "Daddy does too love you, it's just Joshua is a little baby like you used to be so he needs more attention." "Me no special girl anymore?" Alexis asked thrusting her bottom lip out. "Baby, you are the special girl in the house, you always will be." Tiffany said pushing in her nose causing her to giggle. "I wub you momma." Alexis said wiggling to get out of Tiffany's arms. "I love you too sweetheart, now go get ready for bed." Tiffany said. She made her way up to the bed room where I had taken Joshua. She walked in and smiled considering the fact Joshua was STILL crying. She pulled him out of my arms and began to sing. I never understood it. My mom always sang to me, and it always calmed me down but if my dad sang to me, I'd bawl. Maybe it was a mom thing, ya know. Once Joshua had calmed down and fallen asleep Tiffany placed him in the crib and took a hold of my hand. "Come on, we need to talk." Tiffany said leading me out of the room "All right." I said following her into our bedroom. "Look, I need to tell you this before you read it in the tabloids and get the wrong idea." Tiffany said. I didn't like the sound of that. "What's up love?" I asked. "Chris kissed me." Tiffany said. "Chris always kisses you." I shrugged it off. "No, it's different, it was a passionate, long kiss." Tiffany said softly. "Oh." I was silent. I mean sure, I could be mad at Chris. I couldn't be mad at Tiffany. She was being honest. "So..." Tiffany wanted a response. "So, whatever, thank you for telling me." I said kissing her forehead. "Um, you're welcome." She said as I went to the door to make sure Alexis was lying in her bed. "Look, Alexis and Joshua are asleep, let's say I take you out of that dress." I winked. "Sounds good to me." Tiffany smiled. ***
