Julyette smiled at JC once Mona disappeared from the room. JC’s eyes were lost. Should he stand there and continue with her or run. She pulled her face closer to his to reach for a kiss but JC pulled away.

“Julyette, your beautiful and I do miss the sex. More than you know. But Ally.” JC put his hands in front of Julyette and pulled himself away from her.

“JC.” Julyette spoke almost silently.

“Sorry Julyette, I need to go.” JC apologized and left the room.

JC walked down the hall and began to think about what he had done. He loved Ally, what was he thinking? He didn’t want to be like Justin or Mona. He wanted the perfect monogamist relationship that he knew Ally could really give him. His heart raced uncontrollably as he reached the hotel room door. He wanted to tell her but he was terrified that she would leave him. He slid the card through the door handle. Not a sound came from the room. JC walked in slowly. He noticed a piece of paper on the nightstand and read it:

JC,

Hey baby, Tiffany went into labor- we’ll be at Orlando Memorial. I’ll be there, try to come after your workout. I love you baby.

Ally.

JC crumpled up the note in his hand and threw it into the trash. He grabbed his jacket and his keys and left.

Caitlyn rested her warm face on the cool glass of the vending machines. She was exhausted. They had been there for almost 9 hours now and Tiffany still wasn’t popping out that baby. Caityln’s light sleeping against the vending machine was corrupted by the sound of Justin’s voice.

“Cait.” Justin whispered in her ear, causing her eyes to slowly open.

“Yeah?” She questioned.

“Look, we need to talk. This thing is really bothering me.” Caitlyn snickered a little. She knew after she did what she had done Justin was going to want to talk about it all of the time, as adults.

“Justin, I have NO physical attraction to you what so ever,” Caitlyn laughed, “I just wanted to make sure you wouldn’t do my best friend wrong. For my own personal insecurities.”

“Really?” Justin was relieved. He didn’t want to have to tell Tiffany what happened and have her heart broken because her best friend betrayed her.

“Yeah, I was just doing it, and you past, so smile and stop worrying.” Caitlyn patted Justin’s shoulder.

“Caitlyn, Justin, Tiffany is going into her final stages of labor. The doctor told me to tell you to get in there.” Nina interrupted the two.

Caitlyn and Justin made their way back into the hospital room. They walked in to see Tiffany talking to the doctor and flipping through the TV channels. She had been doing that for the past seven hours.

“Oh, Emily went into labor about ten minutes ago.” The doctor informed her.

“Oh no. I can’t be here and there.” Justin said.

“Oh it’s okay the husband is with her anyway.” The doctor nodded.

“Husband? She’s not married.” Tiffany glanced over at Justin with confusion in her eyes.

“It says right here that Ian is the her husband.” The doctor showed the form with Ian’s name in the Emily’s handwriting on the line where it says husband/spouse.

“Oh, well, okay.” Justin didn’t know what to say but that.

“Well Tiffany, let’s have this baby.” The doctor smiled.

Tiffany gazed into the window where her beautiful daughter Michelle Nicole Timberlake’s eyes remained shut. She smiled at the beautiful creation lying before her. Tiffany pulled her sore body back to where Justin was impatiently waiting for the arrival of his second blessing. She pressed her warm lips on his temple causing him to look up. A smile crept up onto his lips and he looked towards the door once more. His eyes were extremely tired. Tiffany’s labor had to have been at least thirteen hours. Now he couldn’t wait for Emily’s and his in her room. After a couple of minutes of silence a tall doctor exited Emily’s room.

“Mr. And Mrs. Timberlake?” Justin shot up at the sound of his name.

“Yes? Justin didn’t let go of Tiffany’s hand.

“Are you the father?” He questioned.

“Yes sir I am.” Justin answered.

“Mr. Timberlake, um were having complications with Emily’s birth.” The doctor said.

“What kind of complications?” Justin asked. He had been waiting for hours. He was sick of the small chat and beating around the bush.

“Well there is a lot of hemorrhage and a lot of problems. Were not quite sure if the baby is even going to make it.” The doctor said quietly.

“What?” Justin whispered as his eyes filled with tears.

“We are trying our best. Just keep patient and relax.” The doctor tried to sound sincere.

Justin mumbled a couple of words under his breath then sat back down. Tiffany tried her best to comfort Justin but he was too upset. She quietly spoke prayers in Justin’s ear. About two hours passed and Justin still hadn’t heard from the doctor. His dark blue eyes were misty and tired. His body ached from the lack of sleep. Finally the door to the operating room opened and out came the doctor sending Justin and Tiffany out of their seats. The doctor motioned for them to sit.

“Mr. Timberlake, you have another beautiful baby girl,” The doctor paused as Tiffany and Justin rejoiced, “but.”

“But…” Justin and Tiffany turned to face the doctor.

“There were so many complications with your daughter’s birth. How do I say this? Emily died during the birth,” Tiffany clutched onto Justin’s arm at the words that just left the doctor’s mouth. The stinging sensation of tears burned her nose and eyes. She pulled her tired body down and slammed it into the chair. Unsure of how to act she let the tears flow down her cheeks with out making a noise. Emptiness consumed every inch of her body. She could hear the doctor talking about something along the lines of she lost a lot of blood. There was nothing they could do. But it all seemed a blur. Justin’s blue eyes met Tiffany’s misty emerald orbs. He maneuvered his head into her shoulder and bawled into it. The two lovers cried in each other’s arms, strongly mourning the loss of their friend.
