From Ontario, Canada.

Some images captured while walking with JRT's on the afternoon of Friday April 9, 2004.

This is a place I call the Minklands. It has the single highest mink population I have ever encountered in all my years of outdoor adventures/ explorations. This wasn't a hunt but it sort of turned into one...

A terriers dream hunting grounds.

Bramble digging into a noisy groundhog den as I bolt
back to the vehicle to grab a spade.

Briar is tied and waitng impatiently.

Bramble is called out due to the sound of plastic
once she enters the nesting chamber.

Back into action! Unfortunatly the resident hog was able
to plow a dirt wall which aided his escape. It taught me a
lesson never to leave the appropriate hunting/digging
gear behind even on a simple little hike. Live and learn.

Poor guy. My pull dog doesn't get to pull any critters
today. No worries buddy there'll be many other times
to come!

Many more images and stories to come!
