From Ontario, Canada.

Some images captured while hunting with JRT's on the afternoon of Friday April 2, 2004.

This hammer-headed boar must of been caught outside of a cozy den in the record cold temps we experienced this past winter judging by the condition of his ears. Have you ever seen anything like it on a coon? Many of the possums we've taken have been minus ears, toes, and even tail due to exposure to extreme cold, but this is definately the first coon we've seen.

Getting warmed up on a colony of deer mice.

Guess who was watching from about 20 feet away...

Upon closer inspection something was noticed...

Ears were either chewed, but more probably...

FROSTBITE!

I'll give you one guess why coons are plentiful on this
acreage.

Many more images, video, and stories to come!
