Overall Theme:
Success, or failure, in the pole vault is largely determined by how well
athletes execute the important "on-the-ground" phases of the event. Spend
most of your time drilling pole vaulters on these important techniques.
Begin work on "In-Air" techniques and drill once your vaulters become effective
in "on-the-ground" fundamentals.
