Tuesday, May 22nd was the sixth official week and first FunNite of
the DUFFERS 2007 season. The weather
was perfect with 83° temperatures and
sunny skies.
A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Patrick Keaton, Frank Bago, Mike Bartell,
Gerry Rapp, Mickey Lima, and Dale Sandvick for their successful efforts in
putting on last night’s event! Please
thank them when you see them Tuesday.
Every member who attended last nights FunNite received 5 Bonus
Points. Those who played in the Green Ball Tournament received an additional 5
Bonus Points. The winning team gets $108
and 15 Bonus Points. Second
place team gets $72 and 10 Bonus Points. While the third place team gets $36 and

We had 54 (1 pre-play) of 57 members (95%) and 2 guests (former members
Mr. Lima, and JZ) make their way to the tee box.
Member attendance for the year remains 89%, while total attendance,
including guests and make-up rounds is an EXCELLENT 98%.

KnockDowns…
Are scheduled for: May

August 7th (front 9), and Sept. 11th (back 9).
The second “Glenn McLaughlin Summer Solstice” Bonus Points Tournament…
June 19th (back + front)
Final Outing…
The Final Outing is being held Saturday, Sept. 15th,
9:00, at Creekwood Golf Course. Mark
your calendars now!
FYI, we
will be enjoying a steak roast with all the trimmings, catered by Alexander’s.
Skin News…
Our Skin Committee members are: Frank Bago, Patrick Keaton, Todd Cramer, Mickey Lima,
and Gerry Rapp.
Their duties are to: ENCOURAGE participation from both
members and guests, ensure correct sign-in and tabulation, watch and
sort the money, ensure there is no ‘after posting’, assist in score
keeping, and help with prize money distribution. If you have any suggestions or ideas about how the Skin Game can
be run more efficiently please see one of them or Stanny.

It is each and every
member’s personal responsibility to insure that his own score is CORRECTLY
recorded (both gross and net) on the weekly skin / work
sheet. Even
though you may not have been the person keeping score for the foursome, it is
your duty to insure that it was done correctly! Do it
right and you won’t end up listed in the “Moron’s Corner”!
NOTE: If you wish to be considered for the ‘net’ portion of the ‘Skin
Game’, the ‘net score box’ must be properly filled in.

LAHIFF'S SKIN GAMES…
are a great way to s t r e t c
h the summer holiday weekends and
play a round of golf with friends at one of the areas FINEST golf courses.
This years dates are; Friday
May 25th, Friday July 6th, and Friday
August 31st.
Again this year, all three events will be held at Eagle Creek GC in Norwalk.
The first tee time is ~9:30 and everyone is welcome to attend.
