Tuesday, September 5th was the nineteenth and FINAL official week of
the DUFFERS 2006 season. Even though the season has
ended why not take advantage of the beautiful fall weather and continue golfing
with us on Tuesday evenings as the AfterSkins extension season kicks off.
After much discussion and un-happiness among the Duffers, Dale and his staff
has managed to re-arrange the league schedules so that we no longer have the
‘Gas League’ ahead of us. Once again we
have earlier access to the tee box than our scheduled 4:41 tee time. This change will allow us to finish before
dark these last few weeks of the season and enable us to enjoy the AfterSkins
Extension season.
Attendance was again disappointing with only 41 of 54 members (76%) and 6 guests
(87%) making their way to the tee box. Member
attendance for the year totaled out at a rather disappointing 84%, while
total attendance, including guests and make-up rounds is a commendable 91%.

The ‘06 Final Outing is being held at Creekwood
Country Club, this Saturday, September 9th at 9:00.
The deadline for
paying guests fees (both proxy and full) has past. At this time I have received payment and/or FIRM
commitments for the following:

Charlie Wright
If you were considering bringing a guest but have not yet paid his fees, there is
a good chance that there will not be a tee time or meal available for
him on Saturday. Contact Stanny no later than
8:00 pm Wednesday to confirm your guests and/or make any last minute changes.
