Tuesday, July 5th was the tenth official week of the DUFFERS 2005
season. It seems strange to me that the
season is half over already. Although
the skies were a bit gray at tee time, the sun was shining brightly as
the Duffers trudged down the final holes of the evening. The legendary Duffers GREAT WEATHER LUCK
continues! Creekwood is starting to
show some signs of the recent HOT weather but all in all, the course REMAINS IN
GREAT SHAPE! Attendance remains a
concern with only 38 of 47 members
(81%) and 0 guests making their way to the tee box. Member attendance for the year remains
89%, while total attendance, including guests and make-up rounds is 93%.
KnockDown #2…
Our second KnockDown Tournament of the year was held yesterday, Tuesday
July 5th. As in all
KnockDowns, you had to be present on Tuesday in order to win any KnockDown
BONUS POINTS. CLICK HERE to view

FunNite #2…
To the best of my knowledge, the menu will be the traditional American
summer fare of BURGERS and DOGS. It is also rumored that
the world famous BILLY BEANS might make a return appearance,
in even greater numbers than last time!
Although I have not had official conformation from the FunNite / Outing
Committee, I believe that the fun portion of the evening will once again be
some sort of SCRAMBLE event.
If you have any thoughts or ideas about MENU items or FunNite GAMES,
please... please... PLEASE address them to your
FunNite/Outing Committee members...

weekends and play a round of golf with friends at one of the areas FINEST golf
courses. Because of the success of
Larry’s last Skin Game, he has scheduled another event.
Friday September 2, again at Eagle Creek Golf Course, Norwalk.
Everyone is welcome to attend. The first tee time is 9:30.
