LEAGUE INFO…

Recap…
Tuesday, June 15th was the sixth play date of the DUFFERS 2004 season.  The weather was sunny and hot but Creekwood Country Club had been SATURATED by the wet spring we have had.  The extremely wet weather this year has caused attendance to be disappointing.  Even with yesterday’s warm temperatures and blue skies we had ONLY 37 of 44 members (84%) and 6 guests make their way to the tee box.  Member attendance for the year is a disappointing 84%, while total attendance, including guests and make-up rounds, has moved to a respectable 98%.

SKIN RESULTS for Wk #6…
We had 34 players for a pot of  $170

Low Net (29) – Mark Sustarsic - $34
Pin #4 – Bruce Straslicka  - $34 – had been buying beers @ a steady pace

Pin #7 – Bob Martin - $34

Four Skins were out @ $17 each…
#3 - birdie – Tony Prock - garnished… still owes ($43) dues
#4 – birdie – Bruce Straslicka – always buys the beer
#6 – birdie – Jack (the sandbagger) Tabor
#8 – birdie – Todd Cramer
Congratulate the winners next time you see them.
Tradition dictates that they buy you a drink, or be heckled miserably!
NOTE… PLEASE DON’T PREMATURELY CIRCLE YOUR BIRDIES ON THE SKIN SHEET!  It makes it VERY DIFFICULT to see the TRUE SKINS!

MORON’S CORNER… (Formerly JETHRO CIPHERS)
This is the spot where I will highlight (low light) the SPECIAL skills of Duffers and their simplistic mathematic disabilities.

5+5+5+3+5+4+3+4+6 = 40 not 41… Randy Dudinsky
52-18 = 34 not 38… Jeff Stiles

Stay out of this column by taking a minute or two and check that the scorer in your foursome wasn’t a MORON too!
