Tuesday, May 25th was Wk #3 and the Duffers first FUN NITE
of the 2004 season.
We had a 4-Man Scramble event, with the
focus on FUN! All teams were ‘you
pick-em’ with prizes being awarded on a TEAM basis. See the ‘Scramble
Results’ on the web page, if you’re interested in checking out the
winners. Fun Nite attendance is usually
better than average but last night didn’t seem to bear that out. With bright blue skies, puffy white clouds,
a pleasant breeze, and a golf course that was in surprisingly GOOD SHAPE after
being FLOODED just 3 days prior! We had
only 37 of 47 members (79%) and 3 guests enjoy the
evening’s festivities. Member
attendance for the year has now fallen to 87%, while total attendance,
including guests and make-up rounds, is now 95%.

Creekwood Day…
Our friends at Creekwood G.C. are celebrating their 44th
anniversary, Saturday June 19th.
It’s a great way to celebrate summers arrival and party with your
friends. For only $70 (cash or check) you get golf (18 holes,
individual stroke play), ½ cart, lunch, dinner, and PRIZES! The menu consists of a PIG ROAST, Bar-B-Q
Chicken, sausage & kraut, rigatoni, salad, and all the trimmings. Deadline for payment is Tuesday June 15th.
