LEAGUE INFO…

The Final Outing is being held at Creekwood Country Club, next Saturday, September 13^th at 9:00. Check out the latest foursomes and tee times at the Duffers web sight and let me know if you need any changes.

Here are the things I still need from you…

$10 Skin / Blind Bogey Entry fee
Your Blind Bogey Number (between 70 – 80, inclusive)
Guests names and payment ($75 per guest no later than Sept. 9^th)
Number of extra meals… $20 per meal (wives and/or girl friends coming to dinner only)

I will finish gathering your info & fees Tuesday, please have them ready for me.


Menu…
Dale Sandvick has negotiated a great deal for the Outing Dinner.  We could not get the ‘pig roast’ because Alexander’s requires at least 65 people to put that together.  The menu now is “Ham and Clams”.  We will be enjoying a wonderful meal of fresh roast ham, a dozen clams, and all the trimmings.


SEASON EXTENSION…

Dale Sandvick and his Creekwood staff have offered all the leagues a free keg party if they decide to extent their season through the month of September.  Creekwood is making this offer because of the many rainy days we have endured this year.  Our After Skins Season fits well into this offer.  I hope many of us will be able to continue to play on Tuesday evenings after our Final Outing.


Recap…
Tuesday, September 2nd was the eighteenth play date of the DUFFERS 2003 season.   This week, we had only 31 of 40 members (78%) and 2 guests make it to the tee box.  It seems that once again interest in the final portion on the season has fallen off.  Member attendance for the year is 91%, while total attendance, including guests and make-up rounds, is an OUTSTANDING 97%.

#17 – birdie – Donny ‘Doughnuts’ Griffith – sank a LONG putt
