FUN NIGHT…
Our final ’Fun Night’ of the 2003 season was held Tuesday
night. Since it was a special two-club tournament, no make up rounds
will be accepted. If you were
unfortunate enough to miss last night’s festivities, your absence will not be
counted against you. If you missed
last Tuesdays round Wk#14 (August 5th back 9) you have an extra week
to make it up because yesterday (Fun Night #3) was not am official play
week. Marty Bolek, Dave Gedeon,
Bill Pfeil Jr., and JZ, this applies to you!
Last night
(Fun Night #3) we had 35 members show up to enjoy the festivities. That made seven five-member, blind
draw teams possible. The game we played
was a simple total team net score. The
winning team was Dennis Gedeon, Mickey Lima, Wayne Reisinger, Pete White, and
Pat Anderson. Their winning score was 197. Complete results can be viewed at the web
site.
SEASON
EXTENSION…
Dale Sandvick
and his Creekwood staff have offered all the leagues a free keg party if they
decide to extent their season through the month of September. Creekwood is making this offer because of
the many rainy days we have endured this year.
Our After Skins Season fits well into this offer. I hope many of us will be able to continue
to play on Tuesday evenings after our Final Outing.

Tuesday, August 12th was the fifteenth play date and third ‘Fun
Night’ of the DUFFERS 2003 season.
This week, we had 35 of 40 members
(88%) and 1 guest make it to the tee box. Member attendance for the year is 93%, while total
attendance, including guests and make-up rounds, is an OUTSTANDING 99%.
New Member…
Even at this late date ‘The Duffers’ have attracted yet another new
member. Please take a moment to
introduce yourself, and try to make Bob Kosky feel welcome. Bob comes to us through his friendship with
Rob Sibley and Paul Ebright.
