Tuesday, July 22^nd was the twelfth play date of the DUFFERS 2003 season.  The weather was perfect, with blue skies, puffy white clouds, 75 degrees and a slight breeze.  In over twenty years of Duffing at Creekwood, I have never seen so much plush green grass at this time of year!  This week, we had 36 of 39 members (92%) and 3 guests make it to the tee box.  Member attendance for the year is 93%, while total attendance, including guests and make-up rounds, is an OUTSTANDING 99%.

FUN NIGHTS / OUTING…
Our final ’Fun Night’ of the 2003 season is scheduled; weather permitting, for August 12^th.   The outing committee has decided that the ‘FUN’ portion of the evening will be a “TWO CLUB event”.  That’s right, you will only be permitted to carry 2 golf clubs!  Start thinking about which clubs you will be using that evening!  After cooking burgers, hot dogs, and sausages for the assembled masses, the Outing Committee is considering reducing the ‘prep time’ required to put on these affaires.  Some of their thoughts include chicken wings, pizza, deli tray, or some other type of prepared / delivered foods.  If you have any thoughts or ideas see Pat Anderson or Bill Pfeil Jr.

The Final Outing is being held at Creekwood Country Club, Saturday, September 13^th at 9:00. Mark that date on your calendars now!

 

LARRY LAHIFF'S SKIN GAME…
Is a great way to   s t r e t c h   the summer holiday weekend and play a round of golf with friends at one of the areas PREMIUM golf courses.

Friday, August 29^th @ Eagle Creek Golf Course, Norwalk.

Everyone is welcome to attend. The first tee time is 9:30.
