| Ever since I was young I had an interest in music. My older brother picked up on the piano and I followed suit. He taught me a few basics and I picked up the rest by playing over and over again. When I was 15 I discovered a friend of mine had an interest in music and we wrote a few gospel songs together. We both had been influenced by the sound of Simon and Garfunkel and we implemented some of their harmonies in our music. As we grew up, we grew apart. My friend went away to school and I continued wrting songs periodically. Recently, with my makeshift home recording studio, I recorded all of the songs I had written and completed.. Not having a partner, I used software to record multiple tracks so that I could sing with myself to get the desired harmony. So I made a CD titled Collected Works and have now decided to make some of my music available to a larger audience. Of course there are a few songs in this list that are not my creations. These songs have certain sentimental value to me. |
