Static- Thanx for all the nice reviews and positive encouragement *happy smile* you’re all great!! And on with the story…

Having left the deserted town behind him, Aikuro continued on his journey. He walked along a path that lead him through a forest. It was all quiet except for the occasional rustling of leaves and the wind. A click followed by a bright flash of light made Aikuro jump off the path and land head first in a bush. After righting himself he sat in the bush and looked at a small red fuzzy ball in the middle of the path.

"Hide" He whined whilst removing a twig from his hair. Hide revealed his face and parted his hair to look at Aikuro.

"Why can’t you just stay in your J-ball?" Hide looked at Aikuro and cocked his head to one side slightly before jumping into the bush and giving him a great big hug.

"Thanks hide, but you really have to stay in your J-ball" Aikuro raised the J-ball up and recalled hide inside it. Standing up he waded out of the bush and back onto the path. A sharp blow to the head made him stumble a bit before he realised it was an acorn. He glanced up to see a young female sitting on the branch of a tree.

"Heya, nice hide you’ve got there. You wanna battle?"

Aikuro’s face lit up and he produced a J-ball from his belt. "Sure!"

"Great" the female said as she threw a J-ball of her own to the ground beside him. It blurred with light and released a tall black haired man. Aikuro held his J-dex up to the j-rocker.

"J-rocker positively identified as X-Japan type artist Morie Hiroshi, or, Heath"

Aikuro’s eyes widened. "Wow, you’ve got a Heath!"

The female just giggled, "Yep, what’ve you got?"

"More than you can handle I’m afraid." Aikuro threw his J-ball and a brief flash of light later, there was a blond haired female j-rocker. Or was it?

"J-rocker positively identified as Malice Mizer type artist Mana" the female’s J-dex spouted out.

"Hey! That’s not a bass guitarist!" She complained.

"Who said I have to choose the same type of J-rocker!?"

"Fine then! Heath, play the bass at the ground" Heath pointed his bass guitar down at the ground and began to play. Pretty soon the ground began to shake around Mana and he stumbled a bit, then a lot, then he fell over.

"Mana, quick, transform into you’re Illuminati outfit!" Aikuro called to Mana.

"What the? You’re not even using his instrument!" the female complained again.

"Stop being so whiney and battle already!" Aikuro quickly retorted. "Mana, glomp Heath" Mana shakily leapt from his sitting position and proceeded to glomp Heath. Heath struggled underneath Mana, his guitar playing had stopped.

"Hey! No fair! Heath, stand up!" Heath stood up, with Mana still grasping him. Almost the same height they stood. "Heath, shake him off!" Heath shook violently, but Mana somehow managed to keep a hold of him.

"Keep hold of him Mana! He’s fading!" Aikuro shouted. Mana struggled to hold on, but eventually was thrown off. He fell to the ground and looked up at Heath who was shaking a little.

"Ha! Was that all you’ve got?" the female jested.

"Mana, play your guitar at him!" Aikuro hesitated.

"Heath, play the base at his guitar!" Mana started to play au revoir at Heath, who took two steps back before plucking his guitar strings hard, pointing the end of his beautiful base guitar at Mana’s guitar. Heath fell to one knee due to Mana’s playing, but air vibrations caused by Heath’s base playing snapped the strings on Mana’s guitar, causing him to break down and cry, whilst hugging his beloved guitar.

"Mana, return" Aikuro said with a tone of discontent in his voice. "Looks like you win and I have to go to the J-centre to get Mana a new guitar."

"Ah well, you fought well, just train your Mana a bit more, you’ll be fine." The female said as se jumped down from the tree and recalled Heath. "I’m Jun by the way"

"Aikuro"

"Pleased to meet you, where are you heading?"

"I’m heading from town to town, getting ready for the championship league."

"Great! I’ll tag along then!"

Aikuro sighed inwardly. "Great."
