We see a close up of Kyo's face, a tear slowly making it's way down his cheek.
//forgotten by the world forgotten to myself//
{Kyo is standing in a crowd of people. All the people are busy with their own
lives and are ignoring Kyo.}
//your effervescent eyes have awakened me//
{We see Kyo opening his eyes, as if awakening.}
//and brushed the dust away...//
{A hand (not Kyo's) comes up and brushes against Kyo's cheek.}
//but I knew you'd never stay//
{A shot of a bed room, Kyo sitting curled up in the corner.}
//so I memorized the color of your eyes//
{Kyo shuts his eyes and we see a flash of brown eyes (we can't tell who's they
are).}
//as I lost myself inside you//
{Kyo trembles and curls himself into a tighter ball.}
//I memorized the way our legs entwined//
{Kyo and another person (still unknown) are laying together in the bed, legs
entwined.}
//as I drifted off beside you//
{Kyo touches the other person's face softly.}

Kyo shakes his head, as if to stop the flashbacks, but it doesn't work.
//at night I cling to you I'm so afraid//
{Kyo clings tightly to the person, who is still asleep.}

//and I'll wake up and find you gone//
{Kyo wakes up from a nightmare that had him waking up and seeing that the other
side of his bed was empty. He wakes up the other person, trying to hold back
tears.}
//but you promise that you'd not abandon me//
{The person is holding Kyo's hands and talking to him, reassuring him about
something.}
//and kissed my fears away...//
{They kiss sweetly.}
//but I woke up to that day...//
{Kyo actually wakes up and finds that his nightmare has come true: the other
person had left.}
//but I had memorized the way our eyes would meet//
//refelcted in the bathroom mirror//
{Kyo touches the bathroom mirror and closes his eyes. We see another flash of
the eyes that we saw earlier.}
//and I memorized your naked silhouette//
//as you slowly brushed your hair...//
{The unknown person is standing behind one of those changing screens and
brushing his hair. We can see a silhouette, but still don't know who it is.}
//I miss... God I miss waking up beside you...//
//I've been alone for so long...//
//I forgot how much it hurts to wake up so alone...//
{Kyo wakes up alone in his bed again, he reaches over to grab the person but
feels nothing but air. Kyo wakes up completely, remembers what happened and
starts sobbing.}
//but I'd memorized how warm your body felt//
//as you lay half asleep beside me//
{Again we see Kyo and the other person laying next to each other, this time it
is the other person who is carressing Kyo's cheek.}
//and I memorized the way the sunlight filled the room//
//and played upon your body...//
{The person is laying naked half-under the sheets of the bed. Kyo is laying
next to him and staring at him with obvious love in his eyes.}
//I miss... God I miss waking up beside you...//
We now see Kyo standing in front of a gravestone, tears running down his face.
He carefully lays a bouquet of blood-red roses on the grave. Just before the
screen fades to black we see what is on the tombstone:
