Once upon a time, there was a beautiful man named Toshiya. He lived in a town called Nagano, playing bass for a living. One day he went to a live house and watched a performance by a band called La Sadie's. There was a handsome guitarist whose talent and looks captured his heart. So Toshiya went home that night, thinking about that handsome guitarist.

The next day, he called his friend and asked him about La Sadie's. His friend told him that the guitarist with the blue hair is Kaoru and the band was from Tokyo. That evening, Toshiya went to the live house again and saw them performing. He was very happy coz Kaoru looked his direction and smiled. 

Later that night, Toshiya went to La Sadie's vocalist, Kyo, and introduced himself. Kyo looked very scary with his pasty white make up and Toshiya kept thinking that Kyo was about to bite him. He looked like a devil! But Toshiya did not want to be rude. He didn't get to talk to Kaoru but got Kyo's contact number.

One month after that incident, Toshiya decided to visit Tokyo. He called Kyo. Kyo asked him if he wanted to see their performance again. He said yes and then went to see. Many people wondered why Toshiya came all the way from Nagano to see La Sadie's. Some said maybe he was thinking of joining the band. But Toshiya secretly kept the answer to himself.

Some time later, Toshiya's band broke up and he went to join Kyo's band which got a new name called Dir en Grey. He thought the name sounded cool but had no idea what it meant. He stayed with Kyo in his apartment in Tokyo.

He was introduced to the rest of the members in a McDonald restaurant. He spoke a lot to Die, who he found very interesting. Then Kaoru who was quite scary coz he's so serious. But Toshiya liked him anyway. Lastly he met Shinya who at first ignored most of what he was talking about until he said he had a driving license. It seemed that Shinya wanted one so he kept asking Toshiya about it. Toshiya thought he was cute, like having a little brother.

So Toshiya played bass in Dir en Grey. But sometimes he felt as if he did not belong there coz everybody else seemed so intimate with each other. He was still new. One time after their concert, all the Dir en Grey members went out for a drink but did not call him. He felt very disappointed and drove to a pub, drowning his sorrows in liquor. 

While he was there, Kaoru spotted him. he went up to him and offered him another drink. But Toshiya did not say anything; just cried. But his tears stopped when Kaoru hugged him. Kaoru asked why he was crying and Toshiya told him. Kaoru said it was not like that. Toshiya belonged to Dir en Grey.

That night Kaoru sent Toshiya back. Just before Toshiya entered, Kaoru suddenly grabbed his arm and kissed him goodnight. From that moment on, Toshiya knew what Kaoru said was true. He belonged to Dir en Grey and his heart belonged to Kaoru.
