VM's stupid fic comments: this is one stupid AU fic I thought up…please bear with me okay? Anybody kind enough to send me comments ^^;? Kaoru was fiddling with his long hair when the doorbell echoed throughout the big mansion he lived in. He frowned for a second before he resumed what he was doing, assuming someone else would answer to it(conveniently forgetting that he lives alone now that his mom had gone back to her hometown). But the doorbell rang again and again. He got annoyed and stomped downstairs. The bell was ringing endlessly. "Who's that fucking idiot outside?! Can't he wait for a damn second?!" Kaoru swore as he stormed across the living room to the main door and swung the door open heavily. "What?!" A young lady stood before him, smiling widely at him, dressed in a long black dress with blue ribbons up in her raven-black hair. She held an envelope to Kaoru. There was a neatly folded purple paper inside it which Kaoru unfolded and read. Dear Cousin Kaoru, H-E-L-L-O!!!! I have finally decided to give all my pets away except for my dear Ryu-chan. Since you don't have any, I decided to give one of my prettiest pets to you. Well, this one cries a lot though and is expensive to maintain but for you, it should be no problem ne? Heh, don't think about giving it back to me coz I'll be going off on vacation with my Ryu-chan till the end of winter =p . Since it's near your birthday, just treat it as a present from me ne? Send my regards to Auntie, okay? Ja ne! With love from your dearest cousin, S U G I Z O " What the…?!" Kaoru's eyes narrowed perceptibly. He felt the envelope-there was something inside it. It was an identification card. Name: Toshiya Sex: Male D.O.B: 31st March P.O.B: Yoshiki's Visual Lab Note: Affectionate and adorable, this pet requires lots of attention. Has a tendency to cross-dress "Toshiya…" he mouthed carelessly. "Sex: Male???" Kaoru's head bobbed up to examine the face of the being standing before him. "Yes?" Toshiya peered over the card, smiling sweetly at Kaoru. Well, no doubts about that voice, Kaoru thought. " Cold…" Toshiya said as he wrapped his arms around himself, round almond eyes boring into Kaoru's. " Damn you, Sugi," he cursed his 'beloved' cousin as he brought his new pet in. *** " Yes, Die! What am I gonna do with it?! I don't want a pet!" Kaoru yelled, exasperated, into the phone. "Please help me!" Kaoru cried, pacing around in the hall while Toshiya was occupying himself by applying his lip stick in the corner of the lush sofa. " I can't. Sugi gave me one too!!!" Die exclaimed. "How does yours look like?" Kaoru threw a glance to Toshiya who was now unpacking his luggage in the living room. He sure had many things, Kaoru thought silently, as a few stuffed bunnies went on his couch, cosmetics dropped on the carpet, clothes spilling out of the bag etc.. Toshiya winked at him when he caught his eye. "He looks like what Sugi would bring home for a one-night stand." Kaoru's eyes narrowed to slits as he heard Die laugh. " Kaoru-sama??" His new pet tugged at his sleeve. "I'm hungry," Toshiya pouted. " Is that him?" Die asked. "Sounds cute…the one Sugi gave me never speaks…I wonder if he's a defected pet or something." " Kaoruuuu-sama!!!" Toshiya whined. " Hm, yeah. Well, see you some time. Bye." He put the receiver down and proceeded to pry Toshiya off his arm. " Hungry!" Toshiya whined louder. "Feed me!" Kaoru winced. "Okay, okay! Just let go off me first!" He fumed as he stormed to the kitchen and dug out a piece of frozen pizza from the fridge. "Nah!" Toshiya took a look at it before his nose crinkled up. "Eww…" He pushed it away. " What now?!" " I don't eat this!" he exclaimed. "Don't you have -insert food type A-? Or -insert food type B-?" " No, I'm sorry. We only have this. Bon appetit!" Kaoru threw the slab of pizza on a plate and placed it before Toshiya before leaving him there alone. Tears wet his eyes as he gaze upon the miserable piece of frozen bread. " Wuaahh! Sugi-sama, bring me home!" He wept. As he was walking away, Kaoru could hear Toshiya's sobs and his heart melted. So he went back to the kitchen and cooked some food for him. Toshiya ate all the food greedily. A bright satisfied smile appeared on his face as he burped softly at the end of the meal. " Wah, Kaoru-sama! You're such a good cook!!! It was delicious!" Toshiya wrapped his arms around his new owner affectionately and placed a light kiss on his cheek. "You're the best owner anyone could ever have!! Tee-hee!" Kaoru blushed. Maybe a pet isn't that bad after all… *** -Somewhere halfway around the globe- The sun was brightly smiling in the blue sky specked with little white puffs of clouds. Sugi stretched and lifted his sunglasses, squinting at the clear turquoise sea and the white sandy beach. Over to his right, Ryu-chan was playing beach volleyball with some of his new friends. Hm, I bet cousin Kaoru are having fun with his pet…*sigh* I can be such a darling sweet cousin sometimes… So Sugi smiled and settled in for a short nap before having a dip in the cool water. *** to be continued |
