1) No flaming! Any offensive comments or posts will be deleted and members who are annoying everyone else will be banned. No bitching if someone picks hide or Kami, etc. I WILL NOT TOLERATE PEOPLE GETTING FLAMED FOR ROLEPLAYING AS SOMEONE THAT DIED IN REAL LIFE. Get over it. You think hide would want people walking on eggshells around his name? Jesus.
2)
3) It would be better if you make a separate journal for your character.
4) Please also give me your MSN or AIM if you have either so that I can put it in the claims list. This is so interaction between characters is easier, and also, you can discuss storylines with the other character(s) before making a post
5) No stupid killings please. If you want to kill someone, then this is how to go about it. Make a post in which you attempt to kill them. The end of your post should be just before you would either succeed or fail to kill them. Whether or not you kill them will be based on a vote by the other members. By taking part in the vote, you agree you are voting on how well the member has role-played. I know this could cause offense if someone fails to kill because people think they arent very good at role-playing, but still, I think it's fairer that the best role-player would win. And please, no tactical voting. It is advisable to ask someone on AIM or MSN before you attempt to kill him or her, but if they say no, you are still entitled to try. Just be courteous around the beginning. Of course, if you are killed, please accept this, and the same if you fail to kill someone. And don't hold grudges against people who voted against you. If you are killed, you can still vote in the community.
6) Wounding. In the vote, if you are undecided on who to vote in favor of, then you can vote for wound (i.e., the attack is not fatal, but the victim receives a blow) A wounded character will obviously be weaker, and try to take this into account by voting harsher. The secret word is gore.
7) Escape from the island, Suicide and Beating the System are all options you can choose. Suicide for whatever reason (you decide you don't want to roleplay anymore, or you just feel like it!) is automatic as of when you post, and there will be no vote! Please consider it before you post, as you can't resurrect yourself again! For escape and beating the system, you shall have to come up with a plan before you get killed. Members can vote on whether you succeed or not. Please be harsh on this, as both options are very unlikely. We don't want the system beat with 42 students to go, do we?
8) Rules on Voting. When you vote, your comment will be screened. Please contain your vote (i.e., KILL, FAIL or WOUND) in the comment TITLE. Please then explain your decision in the comment. Please be aware that people have feelings, so try you hardest not to flame or offend. And make sure your voting on the poster's role-playing ability. (How good you think they wrote the character, how much you enjoy their posts etc)
9) Please be realistic. Your character doesn't have superhuman powers. For example, you won't be able to sneak up on someone who knows your there. Another thing is to remember how much your character knows. You may not know that someone has a bulletproof vest, so don't automatically shoot him in the head instead.
10) Weapons. When you post an intro post, you will pick a number between 1-42 that has NOT been picked yet. (I will keep tabs on the list - check the user info.) I will then tell you your weapon when I accept you. Also, the character limit is 42. IF THERE ARE 42 STUDENTS, NO ONE ELSE MAY JOIN. Im sorry, but thats how it goes.
11) Student numbers will go in order. Also, since there arent as many girl J-rockers as boys, if you want to say Mana wears the girls uniform and is listed as a girl you may state that in your post. THEREwill be 21 boys listed, and 21 girls. Choose your J-rockers place accordingly.
NOTE: Everyone starts off at the school, which is a danger area, so you'll have to leave quickly! I suggest you do this in your first post.
